Best

I have been taking my son to Dr Byram since January and so far she is really good. She knows what she is talking about and really informative, the only thing is she just acts like...

Worst

My son started going to Dr. Dianna Thomas, a new doctor to pediactrics r us, but used to have her own practice when I first started seeing her, I would have to say close to 5 year...

Never, Ever Going Back!! 11/9/2009

This place is a joke. Last time I went to this doctor's office the ""receptionist"" was on the phone with a patient. After she hung up, after ignoring me for 10 minutes, she started talking to the other office girl in a negative way about the patient she had just been speaking with. It was very unprofessional. Then, I waited in a hot exam room for 1 hour and 20 minutes trying to keep a 2 year old occupied. Dr. Byram walked up and down the hall complaining about all the patients she had to see. Then, I could hear the conversations she was having with everyone else because she was talking so loud. What happened to doctor / patient confidentiality? BTW, It is impossible to get a hold of the billing person, I have left numerous messages and finally had to give up. This place is terrible. I have spoken to other mothers as well and they have told me it is like that all the time and they too have moved on. Cons: Many more

Very informative! 8/20/2009

I have been taking my son to Dr Byram since January and so far she is really good. She knows what she is talking about and really informative, the only thing is she just acts like she is talking to my son who is just 12 months old. I wish she would talk to ME like I am an adult and there. LOL but otherwise she is funny and I never wait for my appnt for more than 5 mins. Very friendly and just how I like it. Pros: excellent and fast service Cons: Not talking to me like an adult more

5 Years must not be enough. 2/18/2009

My son started going to Dr. Dianna Thomas, a new doctor to pediactrics r us, but used to have her own practice when I first started seeing her, I would have to say close to 5 years ago. \r I have to say, I DO NOT know Dr. Thomas. She comes in, says hello, checks him out and leaves. I would think that 5 years is long enough to be a little more informal by now, but no. I call that bad bedside manor, not to mention that I was there yesterday, for nearly an hour before being seen or talked to, and then she came in with her normal quickness, told me she would be back with a prescription, and then never came back. 1/2 hour went by before I finally went to her rude outgoing patient receptionist, when I was told that the prescription was there. The staff at pediactrics r us are ALL rude, and drab, and they seem to not care about their patients. I guess I should also include that the last two times my son has seen her, she prescribed an antibiotic that costed me $60.00 with insurance. I guess amoxicilian isn't good enough for her. I decided yesterday, that I WILL NOT BE BACK. Anyone know of a good pediatrician? Pros: They get you to your room quckly Cons: They let you sit in your room for hours with no communication. more
