First of all, my husband is stationed here at Ft. Campbell in the US Army. We do not recommend renting from Byers and Harvey, military or not! We've always been quiet, kept up our home, never late with rent, very respectable family, etc. I never take the time to write these things, but I thought everyone should know how unprofessional their management is and how crappy their maintenance is. We've lived at the town homes on Coyote Ct. and now at apartments on tiny town. When we were in our town home, our neighbors washer leaked into our kitchen and caused our flooring to swell and leak. After calling for months to have someone come out and fix it, I gave up. My husband had to cut out the wet nasty flooring himself bc it was molding. After we moved out they tried to charge us for the flooring, but after arguing and they finally took the time to look up our report we weren't charged. Now at the apartments we live in I called to have my window fixed, that's was broken when we moved in, and it took them 3 months to come out and fix it. It was only the locking mechanism that was broken, but it was letting in a cold draft and not shutting properly. My heater wasn't working properly during December and when someone came out to fix it or look at it, all they did was bang their fist on my thermostat, literally. My husband and I went out of state for 3 weeks and the day after we came home I noticed a leak around my toilet so I called maintenance and was told someone would come out right away. I called right before their office closed to make sure he was still coming and was told he was. About an hour or so after they closed he called my husband, who had no idea what was going on bc he was not home. My husband asked him to go ahead and come out if I had called. The weekend passed and I ended up having to take my 8 month old to the hospital and was not home until Thursday morning. I called Thursday morning and asked to speak to a manager. After being put on hold 3 times and hung up on, I finally spoke to her and she was very rude and unprofessional. I tried explaining to her what my problem was and that I noticed the night the maintenance man was supposed to come that the leak was actually coming from our laundry room. I moved my husbands deployment gear that was soaked and noticed black mold, bulged tiles, wet carpet, wet tiles and the walls were wet. She asked why I waited so long to call back if I had mold in my house. I went off!!!!! UHm probably bc I haven't been home!!! I was in the hospital with my 8 month old and my husbands been gone! I do not recommend buyers and Harvey. They're very rude and unprofessional and very incompetent. Never again will we rent from them.
