If you are looking for middle eastern food, this place is it, but don't go just because they've cornered the market. The food is well prepared and it seems like everytime I go, there is live belly dancing and a live band. I'm pretty sure the place is family owned, so I was expecting a wait staff of 16 year olds, but they all seem to be older and more experienced than I expected; some of them even know about wine. Speaking of wine, check out the lebanese (bordeaux style) Chateau Kefraya. There is nothing like it! Also, I've never seen it in any other restaurant, although they do sell it down the street at Cedar's. \r

The decor speaks that this is still a local restaurant, and phone conversations for reservations can be somewhat awkward. Despite the little holdbacks, Byblos is a great place to bring your family or a date (both of which I have done, with positive results). My advice to newcomers is to ask questions and just dive right in. Everything is good, and the portions are enormous.
Pros: Friendly owners, Chateau Kefraya, Waitstaff, Baklava, Kafta, Pita bread!,
Cons: Decor, Parking,
