Several months back bought standing rib roast which was excellent. A few months ago bought whole tenderloin, they trimmed and dressed it and ground the trimmings for burgers. This was fantastic. Two weeks ago bought another tenderloin and again it is much better than any grocery store version. July 3rd bought Tenderloin for holiday and it was so good that we are getting another one for next week. Even though this is not the lowest price item our food menu it is the best value. No waste and the trimming makes fantastic burgers etc. Pros: Nice people that know what they are doing more

Their flavorful steaks are trimmed by experts, and their sausages and chicken burgers are deliciously spiced. Their Rotisserie chickens are the best I've ever tasted, the skin is crispy and the meat is succulent. The finest Boar's Head deli meat is always freshly cut for my sandwiches. The Butcher Block offers the highest quality meats I?ve ever found in Middle Tennessee, superior to any meats any grocery can offer. All it took was the first steak and the incredible favor to make me a repeat customer. I love their prime porter house or prime filet mignon, best favor of any steak I?ve prepared and eaten. If you don?t see it in the counter or in the store, ask. Many times they have my cut of meat in the cooler and will cut to order or have special ordered food for me. I like that you get personal attention and can develop a relationship with the owners. It?s rare in today?s world to become a regular at store where they remember you. Beside their great meats they have great deli products, made to order sandwiches, their chicken salad, potato salad and other foods are made from scratch and delicious. I tried their meat loaf that was ready to cook and it turned out great, so did the twice baked potato?s ready for the oven. They offer many sides that go with steaks or main courses. A great selection of cheeses, custom dressings, and many other unique and hard to find items round out the meat and fresh seafood selections to make the store a unique and great place to shop. Put it all together and it?s a rare combination of excellent and high quality foods, friendly and personalized service.
