We contacted Burkett's about a month ago to get a quote for liner replacement on our pool. The customer service representative was friendly, took our information and said that a contractor would be contacting us shortly to make an appointment. Almost 2 weeks went by without a call. I called Burkett's to follow up and the representative was unable to locate our information so I provided her our contact information once again and was put in touch with their contractor. The contractor arrived on time but was clearly inexperienced. He was unable to visually estimate the size of our pool, depth, liner type, etc which we found strange. He then asked for the paperwork regarding our pool. I gave him our folder and he copied down the liner type and said he'd order it. He then contacted me the next day and informed me that Burkett's does not work with our pool brand. Okay, would've been helpful of the phone representative to mention that to me two weeks ago, and I would think that he should have been aware of what brands his company works with?? He then offered to send out a contractor who could remove the pool and replace it with a built in pool. Its been 2 weeks and we have yet to hear from the contractor. I contacted Burkett's today to follow up and explained our situation and she curtly said that they don't work with our brand so I asked if it were possible to convert our pool to a brand they do work with. She said no, that is not possible. I'm not sure how that is not possible if it is a matter of removing the old pool and replacing it with their own product- wouldn't they want to provide service AND make more money from us?? Frustrated, I asked if she could provide me with a referral and she said " Sorry, nope."
Can't say we received a whole lot of satisfaction from this experience. It has been frustrating from the start. I will not be referring friends and family.
