Burger Lounge

Had heard a lot of good reviews on the Burger Lounge so I had to check it out. I have to say it was all I'd heard it was. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Great fries. more

This is a great place to eat! The kids and I love to order the chicken tenders every time we go. Employees are friendly and price is reasonable. They have great desserts too! more

I absolutely cannot get enough of Burger Lounge, the food here is amazing! I literally have Burger Lounge cravings haha, but seriously I really recommend this place! And I love that it's old fashioned with a modern theme, it just makes me happy! Pros: Good food, nice price! more

Honestly, I did not think it was work all the fuss. Not bad, but not ""OMG SO GOOD"" either. Worth a try if you are already in the area, but don't go out of your way. Pros: Hip Cons: Cost more

Burger Lounge is my absolute favorite burger destination! They serve up fresh, juicy, organic burgers and cuisine in a fun and spunky atmosphere! My favorite is the basil infused turkey burger with a 1/2 & 1/2 order of garlic and herb fries and onion rings, but be prepared for the calories because they also serve up fabulous red velvet cupcakes that definitely take the cake!! All in all amazing food, great service, and reasonable pricing makes Burger Lounge a new hot spot for me! Pros: Fresh organic burgers & fun ambiance! Cons: Consuming a lot of calories! more

I can never get tired of Burger Lounge. The burgers are cooked to perfection and so juicy that you'll have its deliciousness running down your fingers! It's exactly what it's named as--a Burger Lounge. A great place to hang out/catch up with friends and eat delicious burgers. Burger Lounge is really getting popular among San Diegans--it was voted by San Diego Magazine as a top restaurant, and there's a new location opening in Downtown Little Italy. What a cool place. The decor is clean and fresh yet warm and inviting. Saying the menu is limited would be an understatement, but what they lack in quantity they make up in quality. They offer three premium burgers; the Lounge Burger made with ""grass-fed"" beef. A turkey burger loaded with fresh basil, and a vegetarian burger made from organic quinoa (sp?). All burgers come with a home made bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, house-made 1000 island (don't skip this!), and your choice of cheddar or american cheese.\r \r My boyfriend always get the lounge burger and swears it is the best burger on the planet. I don't eat red meat so I'll have to take his word for it! For me, it's either the vegetarian burger or vegetable salad with grilled chicken. The vegetable salad is loaded with fresh veggies and tossed with a tasty lemon-basil vinaigrette.\r \r This place is a great addition to San Diego. Do yourself a favor and try it out. I eat at Burger Lounge at least once a week. This is clearly the best hamburger I have tasted. One thing I learned about the food from the staff is that Organic Grass Fed Beef tastes like real beef. These cows haven't been subjected to corporate antibiotic laden feed lots. The Hamburgers are juicy, (messy) and to die for. Fresh Cut French Fires and a cold beer and I am in a satisfied state of bliss. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and she loves their own Quinoa Vegetarian Hamburger and Home Made Onion Rings. They have a crispy light texture instead of the beer battered mess most places serve. I recently visited the Burger Lounge in Kensington, (a bit larger) and still totally amazing. The line is out the door but worth the wait every time! more

This place had the most tasteless burgers. The burgers are under cooked. I wasn't the only one who complained about it. It was the greasiest fried mess I had, had in a long time ..YUCK! They are way tight fisted with NO REFILLS ON SODA!??!!! The wait staff seemed unhappy. They weren't unpleasant, but not very friendly either. OVERPRICED SLOP!!! La Jolla so needed this! What a great, affordable, hip spot to stop in for lunch. A nice chnage from the stuffy old cafes that seem to be everywhere in the village. We hadn't heard about it, but stopped in after just noticing it on the corner, and I think the buns are the best part. and even though the beef is from natural, grass-fed cows in kansas, i don't think that makes them exactly ""happy."" more
