Good value, Fun place 9/15/2005

BC's is a Pasadena institution. Maybe the only place in LA that you can get a Middle Eastern buffet, a burger & fries, along with an evening belly dancer. The food is a little uneven, from adequete to quite good. I'd skip the American food and stick with the Middle Eastern food. Kebabs and hummus are great. The buffet gets mixed reviews. It's definitely a good deal, but only if you plan to eat a lot. Evenings are very lively here, often with live music and the aforementioned belly dancer. They are also very nice about accomodating large parties and catering. more

Good All-Around Place 8/19/2005

Here's a place where both the service and food are good. It can get crowded, so get there early if you don't want to wait or have a particular table in mind. Great hummus and grape leaves. Spinach and fetta chicken breasts are outstanding. Sometimes they have live music and belly dancers. Come for lunch if you want to skip the music. more

A Greek Place With Superb Burgers 8/17/2005

Though traditionally a Greek Restaurant, Burger Continental offers way more than that. On Mondays and Tuesdays they offer a burger with fries and a drink for $2.00. Combine this with their brand new kareoke machine and you've got all the ingredients for great family fun. You could invite all your friends and eat for less than half what it would cost you somewhere else, and the burgers are excellent. Now the actual menu is wonderful too. From traditional Greek food to specialties they have it all. Add to that generous hospitality and a wonderful showcase of desserts. Burger Continental is a great place with whatever budget. more

Feast for the Senses 8/16/2005

Don’t let the name fool you, they serve a lot more than just burgers. This place offers Mediteranean and Greek food that is the best in the Pasadena area. While you dine, they have live bands and belly dancers in the patio dining area to entertain you. For a great bargain, try their Sunday brunch to get a taste of everything. more
