Great Center! 10/21/2011

I enrolled my 2 year old son in June 2011 and have nothing but good things to say about this school! He has learned so much in the past few months and I attribute that to the excellent curriculum. The school itself is very clean and organized. All of the teachers and staff are wonderful. The tuition rates are also very affordable. I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a pre-school or childcare in the Manchester, MD area. more

Best decision we made! 10/20/2011

Taking our 3 year old son to Building Blocks was the best decision we made. He learns new things everyday, such as songs, finger plays, arts and crafts and math skills. He has made many friends that he can't wait to see everyday. His teachers are wonderful and communicate with us about how is doing on a daily basis. They support what we are doing at home and encourage us to try new things with him. We thought he was smart when he started Building Blocks, but we can't believe how much smarter he is now. He is a happier kid because he goes to Building Blocks. We highly recommend this daycare/preschool to anyone who wants their child to thrive and be ready for school. more

Enjoying new preschool.. 10/19/2011

My 4 yr old just started at Building Blocks and she's really loving it. They're have real lesson plans and plenty of activity centers for the kids. In the last month, they've had a firefighter and a police man come for a visit- real hands on learning. I believe that the experienced and accredited teachers in her preschool room will make this a great year of learning for her! more

Two Thumbs Up! 10/18/2011

When my family relocated to Westminster in mid-August 2011, I visited 11 daycare centers in the Westminster/ Manchester area. I had a checklist of 'positively must haves', 'they should haves', and 'if they have it fine, but if not, it's not a deal breaker', items on my list as I searched. quite frankly, I had concerns with each of the other centers I visited from from price, to insufficient staff education/ training (for my taste), no security devices, and even uncleanliness and odor, but when I arrived at Building Blocks, I said to myself, ""This is it!"" It's accredited by MSDE, ALWAYS smells fresh and clean, priced right, serves food, has excellent staff, security/ cameras, spacious facility, private playground, well organized, great location, and plenty of parking. We have two children, ages 19 months and 3 years, attending Building Blocks, and our oldest son, age 6, goes in the summer. We are completely satisfied with the care our children recieve as well as the learning. more

I couldn't ask for better care for my son 10/17/2011

I was affraid of leaving my son with just anyone after my Mom was the only one to watch him for 2 years. But once I saw how much the teachers cared for each child in their class, it set my mind at ease. They also have a lot of great activities that are not only fun but educational. I also love that I don't have to make any snacks or a lunch every morning in addition to all the other things going on. They probide them. My son loves to play with all of his friends and I have seen such improvement in his socialization skills. I am very happy with the care they provide him. more

Great Daycare 10/9/2011

As a first time parent, I found the task of choosing a daycare extremely daunting. I toured several centers in the Manchester and Hampstead area and found the perfect blend at Building Blocks... caring teachers, an educational focus, fun age-appropriate activites, neat, clean and affordable. My daughter started there at 11 weeks and she is now 3. I am amazed almost daily when she tells me what she did and what she learned that day. I am confident that she is well cared for, learning alot and very happy at Building Blocks! more

Carroll county's best 10/7/2011

If you're looking for a great day care in Carroll County then look no further, Building Blocks is the one for you. My kids have been going there for 3 years now and it was the best move I've made. The teachers are absolutely? wonderful!?! The kids have such a great time that they don't even want to go home when I pick them up. Not only do the my kids have fun but they have both LEARNED so much. I can't thank the staff enough for such a great job they've done and continue to do. A million thanks to Building Blocks. more

Great Daycare! 10/7/2011

I know as a parent looking for daycare for your child/infant is a very difficult thing and it so hard to know if you have made the right decision. If you select Building Blocks you will soon know you made the right decision. Our son has be...en going there since he was 12 weeks old (he is now 21 months) and he has always received so much love from the teachers and has also learned so much. As a working parent you have guilt leaving your child all day but I feel better knowing he is well taken care of and is having fun! He loves going there everyday and some days isn't ready to leave when we pick him up. Thank you Building Blocks for taking care of the most important person in our lives! more

We love Building Blocks! As a teacher, the academic program offered to my twins is of great importance to me. They make visible daily progress. This is because of the kind, caring, dedicated teachers at the center. If I can't stay home with them, I wouldn't have them anywhere else! more

Best Daycare in Carroll County 10/7/2011

My family has been attending Building Blocks for the past nine years. My oldest is now in 5th grade and another is in 1st grade and its because of the teachers at Building Blocks that they are both in accelerated reading and math programs. If you are looking for a daycare that can provide a high level of learning while being loved and cared for like they we at home then Building Blocks is the place for your children!! Building Blocks Rocks! 10/6/2011

My four children have been going to Building Blocks Early Care & Education for 9 years! This is the best daycare around. My children love it! They are very educational based and work with the needs of your child. The staff communicates well with the children and the parents. They are a happy and fun loving bunch and I would not take my children anywhere else. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone and have done so many times. To know you are leaving your child with someone who can care and really get to know your child makes me and my children feel safe. To many more years at Building Blocks! Thank you! more

We had sent this place a 50.00 deposit to hold a spot for our daughter well they filled the spot and then wouldnt even give us our deposit back !!!!!!!!!!!! plus same as other review said owner does not know how to speak to people more

Owner has no people skills! 8/12/2011

Jeannie, the owner and a teacher, is rude and stuck up! She don't know how to professionally talk to another parent. I've heard from other parents of their dissatisfation. i also heard of people that used to work there and there's nothing good said about her. I would strongly suggest any other daycare in Manchester before leaving your child at Building Blocks. more
