Simply the best 11/20/2009

Let me start by reminding all the negative reviewers here that this is not a five star french restaurant. If you want to be greeted at the door by anyone other than a bouncer, don't go to a pub. If you want to get seated right away, go to a place that serves lame food and watered-down drinks. That said, this place is the absolute best! The wings are to die for, the salads always fresh and yummy (and basic - no froo froo salads). The menu changes with the season and there is always something new to try. The waitress is very strict about seating people in order (you really did imagine that someone was seated ahead of you - they probably stopped in an hour earlier and put their name in). The music is so great and you can always see whatever game you want on one of their big TVs. Reminder, this is one waitress in a tiny but very busy pub, she doesn't have time to chat with you about whether you prefer this entree over that, give her your order and let her get back to work. Part of the reason you have to wait so long to sit is that they don't turn and burn the tables. You can sit and digest those wings with another beer for as long as you like while you are chatting with your friends. I wish there were more pubs like this. The place is a timeless gold mine. Pros: food atmosphere and music Cons: waiting for a table, but so worth it! more

BAD SERVICE 11/18/2009

So I went here last night. I traveled thirty minutes to get there because I heard about it on the Phanthom Gourmet. The food was ok. There was really nothing diffrent about the boneless buffalo wings then any other place, I could easily go to the Halfway Cafe and get better ones. The spicy honey tenders I will say are the best tenders I have ever had. The sauce was amazing and I absolutley loved them. The blue cheese was also very good, better than most places. But the reason I am giving this place only two stars is because of the service. When we walked in the door no one was there to greet us so we didn't know wheathrt to seat ourselves or not. We decided to seat ourselves and out waitress seemed pretty nice, awkward in the beginning by just kind of standing there and not asking us what we wanted so I just had to assume she wanted our drink order. The beers where never replaced fast and I went ten minutes without one even after the busser picked up my cup. We where never asked how our food was. When she finally did approach our table it was to tell us that if we wernt going to eat any more it was an hour wait for the table. Now I've been a waitress for almost six years, you never tell a table that they have to go because of the wait especially since we had ordererd apps and where still buying and drinking. We had only been there for about forty minutes. This was labled a pub a bar, that's what iris. If a paying customer is there you can never tell them they have to go. I couldn't believe it! It ruined a great night out that my boyfriend and I where having. I will never retuurn go there again for sit down dinner. Maybe for takeout for the spicy honey tenders but that's about it!! Pros: GOOD TENDERS more

Left Wanting After The Never Ending Wait 1/30/2009

Let me preface this by stating that I am not one to complain about mediocre to bad service. I just won't complain. I can understand if an order is incorrectly placed, if food takes a little longer than normal to come to the table, or if food is a little overcooked. These are non-issues to me. Pros: The Idea of this Place Cons: Getting A Table, Getting Service, Waitresses with a Chip on the Shoulder more

Buff's Best Wings Ever- come to the Burb's! 10/27/2008

Buff""s has the best wings I have ever tasted! The place is a bit cramped and it is a local watering hole but, that is part of it's charm. I would love if they came out my way. I have the perfect place to locate them if they ever want to grow their business and feed the burbs! Pros: best wings, need bigger spot to satisfy all their clients! Cons: crowded , limited seating, not enough servers more

worst customer service 5/10/2008

Two words DON'T GO. Bad Customer serivce I will never waste my money at this place. I don't understand why board of health dos't close this bar. in a nut sheel there is plenty bars in th area any place will bebetter than this dump. home of the lossers more

Can anyone say honey hots 5/9/2007

I've been frequenting this place for the past 6 years and there are no complaints on this end. The wait on tables can be long come the end of the week or during Red Sox games, but it's worth the wait. The honey hots are a must and will leave you thinking about the next time you go. The price on food is reasonable and the wait staff are very attentive. All in all it's a can't miss. Pros: Honey Hots or any other wing you get Cons: A bit cramped more

Wings are as good as the wings in Buffalo. 8/20/2006

I miss the real wings from Buffalo (Frank & Teressa's and Duff's) and so often I'm disappointed in the wings I find around New England....but Buff's Pub has brought me back! The wings were fantastic and a Cuban chicken sandwich was the perfect compliment. Our waitress provided great attention and service was fast. I'll be back. Pros: Great Wings, easy parking, great service more

In search of good wings 2/24/2006

Being a wing aficionado, I have been looking for a good wings place in the suburbs; east of Framingham and West of Boston. Needless to say, I had one sitting right in my backyard. Granted the owner isn't very friendly, and there isnt much seating, the buffalo wings more than make up for it. I wouldn't recommend their sandwiches though, as they are like a poor relation to the wings. Pros: Wings, location Cons: parking, rest of menu more

Feels like a dive 2/3/2004

If it weren't for the bustling crowds, Buffs would be a perfect dive bar. However, since no one doesn't seem to know about Buffs spectacular wings, its rarely a quiet place. Good neighborhood watering hole, though the beer selection could use a little boost. Pros: value, good wings more

My favorite pub! 8/15/2002
