Fab-u-lous! 3/30/2010

I recently moved to the neighborhood where this Buffalo Exchange is located, and I am thrilled. The staff has been nothing short of extremely nice every time I have been in (which is a lot). There are some items that run a bit steep price wise but they are quality and you can find the bargains if you just put in the time. They never really buy anything from me but don't be mad they have got a lot stuff and not a huge amount of room, just don't take it personally if they don't want your stuff. All in all I love the Denver buffalo exchange. Pros: Great assortment of clothing and nice staff Cons: Gotta dig to find your treasure;) more

Like the clothes, but that's about it... 8/26/2009

I like the clothes, of course. They're trendy and always in good condition. The prices can be a little high for ""used"" clothing, might as well buy something brand new. Pros: Good quality, trendy clothing Cons: Snobbish staff and a little pricey for ""used"" more

A great place to shop for unusual, and vintage items. 5/9/2009

If you want to sell or trade items with the Buffalo Exchange, you need to be aware of what they sell. They do buy vintage and used clothing.. that is.. items that are in gently used, good wearable condition. They are NOT a thrift store, and their items are priced above thrift store prices. They buy based on the store's current need, which changes on a daily to weekly basis. It is unreasonable to expect them to buy every item that you present for resale. Their prices for vintage items are reasonable; Vintage stores have a much higher mark up. Pros: A great opportunity to trade or get cash for your items. Cons: If you unaware of what they buy=dissapointment. more

Hate this store with a passion.... 1/28/2009

I HATE this store. It smells of old clothing and stuck up people. I have gone in there four times trying to sell clothing; first time, BE Rep, ""we're looking for more winter stuff."" Next time (a week or so later) I take in a TON of winter stuff. BE Rep, ""Your stuff looks worn"" Oh REALLY? No S**T SHERLOCK-it's a used clothing store. Next attempt (a couple months later) I took in all those things in my closet that I had bought and never worn...brand new. BE Rep, ""We're looking for more plain stuff, less eclectic items."" Oh really? Every single associate in there looks like Ducky from Pretty in Pink, and you're telling me they take ""regular"" clothing. I think not. It really is a store about who you are and what you look like when you come in.....they are too stuck up and hoity-toity for a resale shop. Definite NO-boycott for the remainder of my life. I just have to ask the question...which one of the associate do I have to f**king sleep with in order to get some decency around there? more

Lots of New Brands Mixed in With Vintage and Local Designers 2/28/2008

Great place to browse through for the unexpected. I bought these amazing biker boots there. I wear them every chance I get. Both the men's and women's sides have great finds, and the staff is happy to help. I also love the way that the staff dresses. They embody the whole vintage feel. However, as for consiging, I do not believe that they offer good deals, and they do not take as much as they should. Nevertheless, whimsical choice of shoes, shirts, sweaters, coats, belt buckles, etc. A Must-see! Pros: Friendly Staff Cons: Some things are overpriced more

Too Hipster for their Own Good 2/6/2007

It is the same stuff everytime you go in there. Skull and cross bones are over. I feel that the staff there are less than helpful. There is virtually no customer service in the mentality of the employees, they are too busy comparing their portrait tattoos. I was able to sell a good portion of my load and the price they offered for the goods was reasonable but the aggravation was not worth it. more

I am sorry one person had a bad experience at Buffalo Exchange. My daughter took some items to the store and they were very helpful. They didn't take all that she brought in but I think they are trying to have some quality control. My daughter was very happy with the items they did accept and was happy with the amount of money they paid her. They even took a coat at the end of the season on a consignment basis and did indeed sell the coat and paid her the agreed upon price. I would recommend the Buffalo Exchange Cons: parking more

Trading in clothes? Beware... 10/23/2005

A pattern I have seen with the Buffalo Exchange is they advertise ""We buy your clothes for credit"" but everytime I have been in the store, they don't buy any of my articles and instead ask if I want to donate them, so of course they sell them for total profit. Instead of giving them my clothes I put them in a donation bin near my house. A week later, I came into Buffalo Exchange and found a sweater I had donated to the ""less fortunate"" hanging on a rack for $20. It was a sweater they had refused to buy, and who can blame them, knowing they can raid the Salvation Army racks and buy clothing for 1 dollar and resell for a $19 profit. That is bad business and I refuse to shop there, donate or have anything to do with them. DO NOT SUPPORT THE BUFFALO EXCHANGE. more
