Plus-Size Selection is Horrible 8/22/2008

I understand that Buffalo Exchange is a trendy shop, but girls with curves deserve to look good, too! Every time I have gone in there to look for something in a size 14-18, I never seem to find much that's wearable. Furthermore, I went in once with three big bags of clothes to sell, most of them Lane Bryant, and everything except one item was rejected because what I had was not ""in season"". I thought I was doing them a favor with the limited choices they have! I took the $9 they gave me for one top and haven't been back since. Pros: Some cute acessories Cons: Need a LOT more in the plus siez department!!!! more

Quality of clothes just ok and overpriced 8/10/2005

If you're coming from another city where you're accustomed to getting a pretty good deal on some stylish second hand clothes, don't expect much at the Albuquerque Buffalo Exchange. I'm not sure if it's the buyers or just the kind of clothes they get, but the variety is blah, and the prices are a bit off. I mean who's going to buy a raggedy banana republic shirt for $15 even if it's BR? Every once in a while, I'll find a cute t-shirt or a nice work blouse, but overall, I've been disappointed with this store. Pros: Good hours, Easy to find Cons: Not so hip, $ high for what U get, Clothes a bit blah more

Sell your clothes here....... 7/9/2002

Fun store, lots of bargains and if you live in the area so that you can bring in your old clothes they will give you money or store credit if you want to shop for something else. My daughter really liked this place while she was in college. They have a Buffalo in Los Angeles but it's not half as good. more

Resell for more clothes 6/12/2002

My clothes have a long life cycle. Sometimes their cycle outlasts my taste for them. In which case, this store is a blessing in disguise. They actually lets you re-sell your clothes for cash or trade. You can pick up lots of great finds here! Including shoes, stuff for your home and eclectic gifts. I have found great vintage and hand-made shirts and dresses, which I still own to this day. It's now five years later, and I still count on this place to get rid of those clothes I just don't like to wear any more and fill my closet with more unique pieces. Pros: huge selection, cheap prices, eclectic mix more
