I couldn't be happier with my new solar shades. Facing south living on the 29th floor of an apartment building in New York City, I have a beautiful view but had to keep my shades drawn to protect my furniture and art work from the destructive rays of the sun. The solar shades provide that protection and allow my unobstructed New York City view to be seen.The customer service I received couldn't have been better. After our initial meeting, I started to doubt my choice and Todd was quick to meet me again to show me more samples that he thought I would like. I am a woman of many talents, but home decorating is not one of them. When it came time to select window treatments (which now I know is one of the most important decorative choices) I was clueless. I thought I'd try Budget Blinds as I had seen a most decorative van driving around my neighborhood. I recently went into a big discount store to purchase a set of blinds for my living room window. I was not impressed with their samples hanging in the store, or how their books were kept. Customer Service was rather poor as they took at least ten minutes to simply acknowledge my husband and I being in the store. Their record keeping was sloppy regarding the measurements we had paid them to come take. We walked out -wasting our time and money to get there. Todd's books are well-kept and fun to look at. He takes the time for his customers to be well-educated and happy with the final choices. Todd gives his subtle opinions but does not overwhelm your choice. It's great he comes to your door to help you envision the product at home rather than under the glare of the store lights. Quality products and great customer service. You might be tempted to cut corners but in the end run it's better to go to someone who truly cares that you're happy with how your home looks and feels to you. more

I recently contacted Budget Blinds to review some window treatment options for the master bedroom and two guest rooms in our new house. We consulted with Budget Blinds and its owner Todd Greenberg over a year ago to replace the worn out cellular blind system covering our large south-facing atrium in our living room. The cellular blinds we had in place consisted of a single large blind that covered the three window panels in the front part of the atrium and two separate blinds on the sides. While we knew we wanted new blinds at the time, we got sidetracked on other projects instead. About a year later we decided to get serious about installing new blinds. We were so impressed with Todd from our original meeting, we brought him back for another consultation. The combination of technology, variety, and great pricing helped us make our decision to purchase from Budget Blinds an easy one. Guidance from Todd helped us to choose a great new system for our atrium that would have twice the insulating capacity as our current blinds in addition to some great new features such as a cordless operating system. The new features would be a marriage of technology and style. This replacement shades would consist of both a solid light-blocking blind for each window panel, and an integrated sheer blind for letting in light while blocking the sun, called the Trilight shade. This would be a game-changer! After the installation of the new shades, my wife and I sat back and marveled at the huge difference that these shades from Budget Blinds made for our home. Our living room looks bigger, the insulating capacity keeps us cooler in summer and will help contain heat inside during the winter months. Plus, it looks beautiful!
