Budget Blinds of East Phoenix

I was in need of entire house window treatment. I had no idea what I wanted or even what I could afford. I saw a TV (not HGTV OR DIY) program showcasing beautiful window treatments. At the end of the show the credits showed Budget Blinds. I went to the Budget Blinds website and made an appointment. I received a call from Brad Lewis the owner, to schedule an in house visit to discuss what I was looking for. Brad was very helpful since I didn't know what to do, no ideas and, no help. Brad suggested plantation shutters, which I thought would be beautiful. I really liked the idea, but didn't think I could afford them, let alone for the entire house. We're talking 11 windows, I was sure I could not afford that. Brad crunched the numbers, I was very (I mean very) pleasantly surprised, they were much less than I ever thought possible. Brad placed the order that day. They were installed on schedule, the installer was prompt, courteous and installed the plantation shutters very quickly. Everything went well. Arrived on time with display books which had many choices of style and price. Process took about 45 minutes. Had suggestions for problem windows. The prices were reasonable and delivery was a little earlier than quoted. The installer was very fast & knowledgeable. Absolutely no complaints. more

I called Brad for a quote about 6 months ago. He came over and helped me choose out the style/color etc that I wanted. I was doing different home projects at the time and he advised that I wait until after painting to install the shutters. Just about 1 month ago I was ready for the shutters and called him back to order them. The price was still the same and he still had my information on file, so there was no need for him to return. He simply ordered everything and when it came in about 3 weeks later he called and set up an evening appointment with me so I wouldn't have to miss work. He and his son installed everything in about 2 hours and it looks beautiful. He made it very clear that if I had any problems at all to give him a call and he'd be happy to stop by and take care of it right away. This experience was exactly how we all hope these experiences turn out to be! I will definitely be calling him back someday to do the bedrooms next more

Brad is an absolute winner. He is both professional and friendly. He makes you feel very comfortable right from the beginning of the process. He walked me through every step of making the choice of shutter type that would be best for my locations, gave me lots of options for frame styles. He helped figure out a way to install shutters in a very thin window next to my front door and also did some measuring and additional estimates for windows I thought I might want to do in the future. His estimate was spot on and the shutters arrived right on time. He removed all the current old window treatments for me and asked if I wanted to keep them and, since I did not, he offered to dispose of them for me. The final look of everything was perfect and I have never been so happy with anyone's service before. Brad is a very professional workman, but he is also a very kind and caring person. I feel that I would definitely use his services again, but that I have also made a friend. Thumbs up to you, Brad, and all the best in your future endeavors. more

We got Brad's contact information from Angie's list and cannot be happier with the experience. Brad replied to our initial phone call right away and came to our house within days to take measurements and give us recommendations on different types of blinds for our kitchen and master bedroom. I had visited the Home Depot to get ideas in advance but Brad had way more options and gave us great advice on what would look better for us. He came back two weeks after and installed the two sets of blinds in under an hour. We are delighted with the result, the amazing discount Brad offered, and the quality of his work. Brad Lewis is the epitome of professionalism. He returned my initial call within minutes, scheduled an appointment at my convenience, arrived promptly, spent a good amount of time with me explaining options, warranties and the like, and created an accurate estimate. He is personable, has a ""can do"" attitude and takes his work seriously. The blinds came in earlier than expected and Brad called me the same day to set up installation. He is so good at what he does that installation took only about an hour. Our windows look great! We now have the privacy we desired, superior quality wood blinds and, I expect, lower electricity bills in the summer (a definite plus in Arizona). Budget Blinds responded to our request quickly and Brad made three visits to the condo to discuss options and leave samples, and for the measuring, installation and follow up. He spotted unused brackets on other windows, volunteered to remove them and made no charge for the extra work. more

Brad was great and very professional. His presentation was low key but thorough. He was punctual on both visits and he installed our blind in 20 minutes. One slat arrived broken but he is replacing it and not charging us our final payment until it is fixed. Nice guy and really good work. Price was great and it's guaranteed for 5 years.
