Only for a group of like-minded with large appetites!Everything is served "family-style" - for example, the chicken cacciatore weighs 7 pounds (per our server) - as if that makes ...

Lively Atmosphere...Overpriced Salads 4/30/2009

Buca Di Beppo reminds me a lot of the Stinking Rose in San Francisco, as far as the ambiance. However, there are only two memorable dishes here...one is the Linguine Frutti Di Mare (a great seafood pasta dish with a little kick!) and the other was the Bread Pudding served with a heavenly chocolate sauce...which unfortunately they don't have on their menu anymore. Best Family Dining (Italian) in Roseville 11/13/2006

My family consists of three very hungry individuals. We always are satisfied with the quality of food and the pricing at Buca........but there is going to be leftovers no matter what........... On Saturdays and Sundays, they feature a very special Angel Hair pasta with prawns, capers, feta cheese, and greek olives, in a very spicy sauce. This dish is so wonderful, its a mystery why its not on their permanent menu......my wife says the cheese ravioli is the best she's ever tasted...... Pros: Great food, super-sized portions, moderate prices Cons: Avoid the overpriced drinks & desserts. more

Good food ,but bring a bunch of friends to share! 7/9/2006

We found Bucc'a food to be pretty good and authentic, but if you are a couple that likes a variety of different foods, this is NOT the palce for you. Dishes arrive "family style" and in gargantuan proportions that easily feed six, so make sure you have a party of six! Pros: Good value for large groups/families, Ambience, Service Cons: Not a good place for a couple(too much food!) more

Pricing of Buca Di Beppo 2/23/2004

The portions on all the foods are huge. However, they charge a lot for their dessert and drinks such as soda. So just because the food is a deal, does not necessarily mean the drinks and other things are. more

Bogus Winner 1/4/2004

Great food. Great restaurant. Top 10 in outdoor dining? Who would rate eating in their car in the Top 10? Don't go here for excellent outdoor dining. Go here for a great family get together. Foods good and atmosphere is just right for a reunion. Elegant outdoor dining it is not. Who voted for this under this category? Skip This Place 7/15/2003

Thought we'd try something new. They had high prices, and since we had never been there we tried the dinner for two, 2 pastas and an entree. The waiter assured us that this was "authentic italian cuisine, with lots of garlic and olive oil," like we had never had italian food before.
