Bryce Pioneer Village

We started in July 2010 tour, and we apprehended this hotel being given the criticisms we have read on this site. But frankly it is a simple hotel, very quiet and relaxing, the setting is very beautiful, the reception is very decent, the atmosphere is family. To summarize this is a very typical hotel that we recommend! more

There is a well-stocked store and cafe with very good food (better than the restauraunts inside the park) within walking distance. The staff at the motel was very gracious and met all our requests for things such as extra towels and ice. Shampoo and soap is in adequate supply. more

The small, no-frills motel rooms are clean and comfortable, with one or two queen-size beds or two double beds, large walk-in closets, and showers only (no tubs). Cabins, relocated from inside the national park, are more interesting. Most are small but cute, with one queen-size bed plus a twin bed, one chair, and a small bathroom with shower. Several others are larger, with two queen-size beds and average-size bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. There are also cabins with three queen-size beds. ""Il est vrai que les personnes qui recherchent h?tel grand luxe et service appropri? seront d??us... Mais pour ma part voyageant avec un groupe et accompagn?e de mon mari, cela fut formidable.... Pour une nuit , c'?tait simplement honn?te, chambre correcte, propre, bonne literie ( ? propos ma chambre ?tait dans les 60 tout ? droite de l'h?tel), bien s?r la t?l?vision semblait venir d' un autre temps, mais qu 'importe,nous ?tions en vacances... Pas de Wifi non plus, mais l? encore, pour une nuit, quelle importance ?? Nous avons pris l ap?ritif autour d un feu de bois pr?s de la salle de restaurant , en pleine nature, dans un silence bienfaiteur..... Ensuite diner cow-boy avrec un cuisinier tr?s sympa avec un look de chercheur d'or, grillade de boeuf excellente, et ambiance country men?e par 2 tr?s sympathiques chanteurs/guitaristes sur des airs bien connus """" City of New Orleans"""", """"Country Roads"""", """"Peaceful Easy Feelings"""", """"Whiskey Lullaby"""" et bien d autres chansons encore.. Malgr? la fatigue nous avons dans? au son de la musique country !! Nous avons m?me acheet? le CD que vendait le groupe nomm? We lucked into staying here. From Minnesota, we didn't want to pay the high prices closer to the park. What a fun time we had! Not only was the room clean, comfortable, and very affordable, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Though they didn't have coffee in the rooms, they set up a pot (I started it in the morning) in the lobby for us. They had a terrific barn dance and meal that we shared with a busload of French travelers. It was a memorably fond experience that we cherish. We'd go back, just to stay here! more
