Bryant Heating & Air Cond

We had Bryant Heating and Air from Hillsborough install a heat pump five years ago, and we have been riddled with major problems every season! They have dismissed the problems, ignored our calls, and have not taken responsibilty for their actions. The father was heard during one call for service saying, "just reste the circut breaker and charge them $120 for the service call." After having a couple reputable companies come in and point out the issues with the installation, all I can say is, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! more

I have used Bryant Heating & Air Conditioning for over 25 years on all of my homes and rental properties. I had my furnace and duct work replaced. Bryant was on time, they knew exactly what the problem was and repaired it in a timely manner. Their service tech was both friendly and helpful. Whenever I had a question they were always able to answer it in "laymans" terms and not ignore even the smallest of questions. I appreciate that this company is a local, family owned and operated company. I have and will continue to recommend Mr. Bryant and his company to everyone. Thank you for a job well done! Bryant Heat and Air was the worst experience of my home-owning life! They botched a whole HVAC system we had installed and took responsibility for nothing. We had to hire someone else to come in and fix their huge, expensive, time-consuming mess. No integrity, whatsoever, and the frustration of this father/son act is mind-bending. I wish I had chilled out and never purchased this equipment! I have a Unico system with 2 unichillers and 5 air handlers installed by Bryant Heating and Air from Hillsborough, NC. I really wish it worked like the literature, website and sales people promised. In 3 years it has not worked for one cooling or heating season with out MAJOR breakdowns. We have replaced unichillers, pumps, valves, capacitors, control boards, to name a few.It has never heated or cooled my home properly. When we turned on the air for this year it became evident the 5 ton chiller is bad and needs to be replaced. We are now forced out of our home because it is so hot (92 inside) and now Bryant wants to charge me $2800 to fix something that has never worked from the beginning. They try to make it sound as if they have done everything to please me and just can't. I am not being unreasonable! I just want heat and cooling at the appropiate time. My personal experience with Bryant and Unico for my home has been very bad and I regret the day we learned about Bryant and this system that sounds so great. If Unico is really great and I have just had a bad experience please fix it and let me just enjoy my home with heating and cooling. What do you think? System cost $65,000 and has not delivered one heating or cooling season without MAJOR shutdowns. Workmanship poor. Also watch your belonings and property at your home.
