The owner is BSC. But, this place is famous now I guess. Good costumes though, some possible copyright infringement via character usage. But, I'm no lawyer so I won't pass judgeme...

The Best prices and the best costumes for your money 6/17/2009

I have been dressing up for costume parties for many of my 20's and 30's. I live in Seekonk and been going to places around here and to Boston as well. I work at the Westin Hotel and went to Bruna ;s to pick up some Wizard of Oz costumes. I know that the westin must have paid big bucks for costumes at Bruna, but when I signed the receipt, I saw that 4 costumes came to only Pros: great customer service Cons: They should advertise more more

Anime convention Here I come 4/21/2009

I am excited that I have my dress for the anime festival in Boston. Last year the convention was in March and I ended up getting a wig at the show . I later found out about Bruna. They have a great selection of cosplay wigs and costumes. They are a lot cheaper at Bruna's then at the convention. I found this place on you tube. I am also going to the anime festival in Boston in May and took a swing by Bruna's. I live in Boston and there is only one large costume store there. Bruna has a lot of unique costumes and you can tell they are professional.. They look like the real thing. I especially liked the gladiater costumes. They make them their so you don't have to worry about running into someone with the same costume. Pros: Great store Cons: Too far from my ;hometown more

A Fun Safe place for a man buying woman's clothing 2/8/2009

If you are looking for a discrete place to purchase your unmentionables, try Bruna Costumes on Pocasset Ave in Prov.R.I. I use to go to miko to purchase gloves and boots and stuff but they closed. Bruna is openminded and welcomes cross dressers or anybody else. They have everything you would need there from a great selection of thigh hi's to real nice womans' wigs to shoes and boots. Although they don't have a great selection of shoes in large sizes, they have lots of boots. Pros: they cater to exotic dancers and cross dressers Cons: not open evenings except by appointment more

Greatest Santa Costumes original designs 12/14/2008

I went to check out the Santa suits made by Bruna Costumes. This shop is unique due to the fact that you can only buy or rent these costumes from 'Bruna Costumes' because they are the only one who makes them. They are so much better than the store bought suits that everyone else had. The quality is superior and the costs are affordable. Pros: Original santa suits Cons: none that I can think of more

Biblical costumes for my church 12/1/2008

I needed biblical costumes for a crucifixion reinactment at church. I didn't find anything in R.I. where I am from. My pastor said he use to go to a place in pawtucket but it closed. I HAD TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT TODAY. EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT HOW FABULOUS THE COSTUMES ARE BUT I AM A SKEPTIC. I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS ANOTHER MALL HALLOWEEN STORE, BUT TO MY AMAZEMENT, I WAS WOWED WHEN I WALKED IT. IT'S A AWESOME PLACE. I REALLY GOT EXCITED TO SEE THE PROFESSIONAL COSTUMES. THEY LOOK REAL. I FORGOT ABOUT BRUNA COSTUMES. MY MOM USE TO GO THERE FOR HER HALLOWEEN COSTUMES AND COSTUMES FOR MY BIRTHDAY PARTIES. I REMEMBER BIG BIRD COMING TO MY PARTY AND I HAVE THE PICTURES TO PROVE IT. I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT BRUNA COSTUMES IS A ONE OF A KIND SHOP THAT HAS NO COMPETITION. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A STORE LIKE THIS AND I SAY THAT BECAUSE THE COSTUMES ARE CUSTOM MADE BY THE OWNER. I CALLED SEVERAL PLACES IN R.I AND I FINALLY FOUND ONE THAT DID NOT HAVE AN ANSWERING MACHINE. I SPOKE TO A REAL PERSON. IT IS UNHEARD OF IN THIS DAY AND AGE. I WAS EITHER GOING TO MAKE A POODLE SKIRT OR BUY OR RENT ONE. I CALLED JOANNE FABRIC, THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. best costume rental in r.i. 7/13/2008

This is the only place that actually rents costume. I don't know why these businesses advertise under rentals when they don't even rent. Some of them don't even own a retail store. They work out of their house. Pros: best costumes in r.i. more
