Brule Bistro

I ordered the Thai Shrimp Wrap to-go and it was fresh, with fresh shrimp and veggies. Not enough shrimp inside though for the price they charge and the inside of the wrap was completely saturated in the dressing, it was a mess dripping everywhere on my desk at the office. My fruit salad on the side was in a microscopic plastic to-go container that was not even 3 inches wide. Fresh food, just overpriced and not enough food for the value expected to be paid. more

I am a local and frequent BRULE' anytime I can. The lunches are wonderful and their entrees are AMAZING!!! By far the BEST food I have ever had. One can definitely tell Chef Suzanne is passionate and dedicated to turning out such great meals by using only the freshest ingredients while making everything from pasta to desserts all from scratch. Oh, by the way, did I mention the prices? Champagne food on a beer budget. If you have never been, you are truly missing out on a wonderful dining experience. more

If you know food and consider yourself a foodie, and appreciate a perfectly prepared and beautifully presented meal--then by all means eat at Brule.\r \r This is not one of those Atlantic Avenue bistros in Delray with over -priced-nothing-special food. At Brule, you will be treated to chef's dishes featuring local and fresh ingredients and the sort of menu you don't see anywhere else. I had the vichyoisse as a starter and knew I was in the right place the minute I took my first bite. The Chilean Sea Bass on a local corn rissoto is my favorite------imagine having a chef know exactly how fish should be cooked! It is tender and perfectly prepared.\r \r The prices are extremely reasonable, considering you're eating some of the best food you've had in a long time--at least since the last time you were in New York or Paris.\r \r The atmosphere is charming....you are sitting in a lovely market place atmosphere, with amazing wines lining beautiful shelves----and since one of the owners is a wine expert, you can pick up a bottle on your way home.\r \r I was obviously really impressed with Brule. This is a restaurant that knows what it's doing. The wait staff is wonderful and chic, and beyond the atmosphere and service--you are getting a meal you won't soon forget.\r \r Love this place.\r \r Great take out food as well from the counter. And the desserts are to die for, too.\r \r Ate here two nights in a row...and would be going back to tonight...except they are closed on Sundays..... more

Brûlé is fast becoming my favorite place to eat. Last night I had the Snake River Kobe Shank Steak for main course and it all but melted in my mouth. I shared the cheese platter for a starter and also a melody of the best desserts I've had in long time. The service is excellent and discrete. The ambience relaxed, cool and reminiscent of Europe and the Mediterranean. My wife and I have been a number of times for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Great food and value. Love it. more
