Brown's Furniture

My husband and I purchased some office furniture from Brown's in December and couldn't have been more pleased! The people there are so nice and go out of their way to find what you're looking for. Once we found what we wanted, they ordered it and made sure it arrived when we needed it. We found their prices to be very fair and not much different from other stores in our area. The delivery service provided was exceptional! The delivery men were very professional as well making sure our home was not damaged in the least while carrying our furniture up a flight of stairs. In fact, before they left our home they asked if there was anything else they could do for us and made sure we were satisfied with our order. The previous posters are correct, Brown's Furniture is sub-standard. They have VERY little product on the floor, the carpets and ceiling tiles are severely stained. They are of course, overpriced, but WILL come down to Nebraska Furniture Mart's prices if asked. The key being "If asked". It's a little mom and pop operation being ran as a little mom and pop operation. The proper thing to do would be go elsewhere if you are expecting low prices and/or good service. This store can only exist in Blue Springs or Independence, no other location would tolerate being this sub-standard. more

I have not been impressed with this store. I think that they have a poor selection of furniture and that they are overpriced. This store has had several "going out of business" sales, but it never actually goes out of business. I've shopped here three times, lured in by these supposed sales, but never actually made a purchase. I have not found the salespeople to be at all friendly or helpful. more

I went here a few times in search of a new piece and had no luck. There were a few pieces here that I did like a lot but it seemed to be very price, I ended up going to another shop and found some similiar pieces for almost half the price, don't waste your time here more

We went here looking for some bedroom furniture and wasn't really impressed with the selection. They didn't have a lot to choose from and what they did have it was really overpriced. The workers were all very nice and did help us answer questions, but like I said I found them to be overpriced. more
