I just happened to stumble across these reviews after looking for some other things on vet clinics and I couldn't help but be alarmed at a few of the comments. After reading the comment left by the ""former employee"" I just couldn't help but to leave a comment myself. I myself am a former employee of BCAH and have nothing but good things to say about the place. I worked in all areas of the clinic...kennels, surgery, exam rooms, and reception area. So I have had the full Brown Creek experience! As far as the staff not being certified, most of the people there have been working in vet clinics for over a decade if that is not experience I don't know what is! They definitely know what they are doing, and most importantly care about the animals. And in regards to the animals being chased by brooms and mops...I don't know what you did while you worked at BCAH but that has NEVER occurred in my presence, and as I said I have worked in all areas. If we feel that a dog/cat is threatening to our safety (which means it is extremely, extremely out of control) we must for safety purposes take the proper precautions to contain the animal. Which I can guarantee you does not include chasing it with a broom or mop. The only thing that gets chased with brooms or mops is the outrageous amount of dog hair that is cleaned up everyday at lunch time and at closing! Dr. Wright urges his staff to care for each animal as if it were their own...which is what they try very hard to do. There most of the time is a wait, but if you schedule and appointment and arrive a few minutes early they try to get you in a room and seen by a vet in a timely fashion. But at the same time you have to understand, they are a full functioning hospital which means there are constantly surgeries, appointments, emergencies, and everyday care going on all at once. So to only have 2 doctors, sometimes 1, and the number of staff members they do it flows pretty smoothly.
Pros: Great staff & great Doctors
Cons: Sometimes a wait...but be understanding!
