I bought my Macbook-Pro directly from Mac's online store; but I later had a screen issue, and my initial warranty was over by just a couple days, but Brown helped me get my computer fixed. They worked with me to resolve my issue (which was due to a Mac production flaw) - and I didn't have to pay too much. ...A few months later I went in there wanting to buy a power inverter to run my computer from my car. They had never heard of the one I wanted; but had dealt with the company before. They ordered my inverter, and liked it enough to stock it in the store. Again, great customer service on the 2nd visit. ...I've been in the store numerous times to make small purchases and ask questions, and they are always attentive, answer my questions, provide me with technical data, and give honest product recommendations, or tell me when a product isn't good. ...I'll be having Brown Computers build my 2nd 17" Macbook-Pro this coming week 5/13/11 and I've been given no reason thus far to believe they will screw me. If they do, I'll post it here, and it won't be good for them because I'm a long time regular and loyal customer. ...I've been to a lot of Mac stores - and though I've never made purchases from any other, I know the difference between good and bad customer service. I refuse to give patronage to stores with bad service and policy, and I've walked out of enough stores, telling them on the way out what I think of them. Could they be friendlier there at Brown Computers? Eh, most people could be friendlier; but after living in Lebanon, PA for three years (about 15 years ago), ANY customer service is friendlier. Go to Lebanon County PA and get a [friendly] reality check if you think anyplace else has unfriendly service, lol. So I have been given no [reason] to give Brown anything less than a 5 star rating.
