We have used Brown Bros 3 times in the last 15 years...and they have always been stellar. Having to take your car in to get fixed is never fun, but they are so nice and trustworthy - can't recommend them highly enough -- I got 3 estimates - 2 were practically identical (Brown Bros and Collision Craft) and one was crazy ($1,000 more than the other 2 - see my review for LA CarGUY) and we went with Brown Bros and were extremely pleased. more

I'm so happy with my decision to go to Brown Brothers. I took my 1966 Mustang over to the shop after a small fender bender, and Scott, the owner, took care of my car as if it were his own. Down to every detail, the team fixed my car to look better than it ever had before. While the car has always attracted looks, never before have so many people stopped to gawk. They did everything right, and that's not easy given a car that has about fifty years on her. more

a friend referred me over to Brown Brothers saying they do great work. The day I brought my car in they wrote me an estimate, had it printed, and in my hands in minutes. They explained all my options to me and advised me on any pos or cons. At the same time they had arranged a pickup by a local car rental place so I could get on with my day. They told me that the car was going to be complete on Thursday afternoon around 3pm. Thursday morning they phoned me and informed me the car would be ready by noon if I wanted to grab it on my lunch. more

Grant and Scott are professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Within minutes, the paint from the other car was buffed off. They were able to repair all the damage with a quick turnaround so I wasn't without a car long. This is the second time I have come here--I wish that I had known about them earlier since other places either do shoddy work, charge a fortune, or take forever. more

Brown Brothers Auto Body is professional, affordable, friendly, performs extremely-high quality work, etc.; I think I've found my go-to paint shop. After having tried more than one auto body garage in the LA area, I need to search no longer. Best of all, I trust Brown Brothers... I have taken my car here twice for body work after a car accident and parking lot mishaps. Scott and his team have always taken care of me and preformed excellent work. Took my 2011 Prius in. Got side swiped and they pretty much had to replace the whole side of the car. Two new doors etc. The other guys insurance paid for it. Got the car back yesterday. Looks better than when I bought it (ok that may sound like an exaggeration - but it looks absolutely perfect). They discovered an interior dent and dealt directly with the other insuance company to get a supplemental. The car was detailed and was simply perfect.\r \r Overall, they are honest, very responsive and I was extremely happy with everything. I recomment them more

2nd experience with Scott at Brown Bros, last year superb job on my wife's Lexus, so this year I returned with my Jaguar, seeking repair to bumper, various scratches and a new horn\r Scott produced a very reasonable quote, agreed a start date and had the work carried out perfectly and to schedule...my car was returned looking brand new and had been cleaned inside and out\r I will not look elsewhere for any future auto body work and can only suggest you give them the opportunity to estimate for your car...they are honest, reliable and charge fairly...a very rare combination these days more

Was sideswiped and had a broken side view mirror and dent/scrapes all down one side of my car. Got quotes from two different shops; Brown Bros. was lowest by a mile.\r \r Service was professional and friendly, pricing was great, car was done exactly when they said it'd be done. GREAT BODY SHOP. GLAD I FOUND THEM!!!!\r \r Believe it or not, I was hit by two different people within one week of each other and neither one of them had insurance! Since both the people were paying out of pocket for the repairs, I had to find the best price and quality I could.\r Brown Brothers not only gave me the lowest price but they had my car done in record time! The other shops I went to wanted at least a week to do a little repair and paint on my truck, Brown Brothers had it done in 3 days, and the work was flawless! And they gauranteed the work for as long as I own my car on top of the great service.\r Funny thing - there's a bad review on here from a guy named JIM C. This guy must be a nut case. after dropping my car off, only then did I check the YELP reviews. I was concerned about the claim this guy makes about pending lawsuits so I went to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs website to find that Brown Brothers has ZERO, I repeat, ZERO complaints against them! JIM C. should get his facts straight.\r I think it's awful that someone would use this forum to slander a good shop like Brown Brothers. I really didn't know what to expect when I first drove my car up to the Brown Brother's parking lot, but I think I had this idea in my head that all body shop owners we're going to be akin to the stereotypical ""used car salesman"" and try to swindle me into some outrageous deal. The first 5 minutes changed all that. Grant, the agent who walked me through the entire process, was not just helpful, he was honest, upfront, friendly, and he even helped to explain the entire process of going through the insurance company to me. At Brown Brothers I felt that I was more than a customer, I felt that I was family. Grant took care of all the trouble of going through the insurance company and slicing through the red tape. I had absolutely no stress through the entire process Brown brothers took care of everything. This brings me to one point that I can not stress enough. When Grant first looked at the damage to my car, he was honest, saying that he didn't know if he could for sure save my car. I was really opposed to just taking a check from the insurance company so I asked Grant what he could do. He said that he would look into it, and lo and behold, I got my car back in a very reasonable time and now it looks better than ever!!! In conclusion, I would feel no doubt in saying that Brown Brothers is the best body shop in the Los Angeles area. I must say, i was really worried that my klunker would never be the same after my accident. i was so amazed with the end result that i almost thought they slipped me a new car. detailed and all, maybe accidents are blessings in disguise after all.... not really. it was seriously hard to imagine that just a couple of weeks ago, my trunk was literally pushed in a few feet and i was unable to drop my top. so happy with the quality of work and professionalism of Brown Brothers! more

HONEST, EXCELLENT QUALITY AND RELIABLE\r \r I recently had my Infiniti EX35 rear bumper repaired. I was involved in a rear -end collision and I had my choice of auto body shops in Los Angeles. I decided on a small shop vs' a large shop. I wanted that one on one customer service experience. That is what you will receive here at Brown Brothers. I like the fact you can call them and have a live person answer the phone and that will be the manager Grant. Grant walked me through the entire process and informed me about the insurance companies red tape. Grant gave me an ETA on my car and it was on time and didn't have a single problem with the quality and service. My car looks exactly as it did when I first drove it of the dealership's lot. I would highly recommend this business. It's hard to find honest and reliable people in auto repair, sales and service these days. However, you will get that here at Brown Brothers. more
