My wife and I had dinner here two weeks ago, and even though we waited for over an hour (it was a Saturday night and we did not have reservations), our experience was just as wonderful as ever.\r \r My wife's filet came out a little closer to well done than medium, as she ordered it, and though my wife did not send it back, they discounted the price of the filet completely off of the bill.\r \r Service like this has gone away at most restaurants, glad to see at least one establishment can recognize an opportunity to please a customer. \r \r We have been loyal patrons and we will continue to be loyal patrons at this great Roswell establishment. more

I have been dining at Brookwood grill for 10 years now. I have seen this restaruant grow and continue to give excellent food and service. In 2000 I was an employee at Brookwood Grill; I am a Chef now as well as a certified Hospitility Manager for the National Restaurant Association, and in my opinion the standard of service has always remained consistant and from the front door to the check. Everyone is inviting and attentive to our needs. As for the food, if you want Prime Rib, look no further! The menu has a wide variety of choices, and the price is well worth the portion and quailty you will receive. more

This place has been one of my favorites since moving to Atlanta. Most nice restaurants you get small portions and pay too much. But at brookwood everything is huge. You don't expect that from a place of this caliber. It is a little bit more expensive but it makes up for it in service, quality, and portion size. They have been around a long time for a reason. As it is essentially across the street from where i live i have been here on a few occasions. On almost every occasion it has either taken forever to be seated, or once we have been seater the service was slow. Not only was it slow, but it seemed like they didnt even care. IT was so bad one time that the manager gave us a very very genrous gift certificate to make up for things. My boyfriend and I went to Brookwood Grill for the first time on Friday. We LOVE it. The staff was great and very attentive. We started with the Chicken Satays, they were fabulous. I had the Asian Chicken salad and he had the Chicken Finger Platter. The salad was refreshing and plentiful. My boyfriend being a Chicken Finger connoisseur quickly put them at the top of his list. The sides we tried were the Gouda Mac N' Cheese and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Coming from a very dissapointing New Years Dinner at Ruth's Chris, eating at Brookwood Grill has delighted us and we can't wait to return with friends . Ambiance: Nice, like a Houston's Knock-off. Hostess was friendly, seated us reasonably quick. Our waiter seemed bored & insisted on rambling on & on about the menu, describing every dish in excruciating detail while we sat there trying to concentrate on figuring out what we wanted from the menus we already had in our hands. Our meal at the Brookwood Grill was very, very good. The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked and was the first time I think I've ever experienced the full range of flavors possible from a steak. The Caesar Salad was among the best I've ever had. The waitstaff is very attentive, and the atmosphere is very cozy. It's not cheap, but in this case you actually get what you pay for. Brookwood Grill in Alpharetta was great: Food, service, wait for seating, everything. Pros: Considered the guest from the door to the check - even waiting was made easy! Cons: Patio was full of smokers. more

Great ambience and outstanding service but the food was a disappointment for the most part. The presentation of the entrees was wonderful, unfortunately that was the only high point of the meal. The peppercorn tuna salad did not reflect the menu description whatsoever. It primarily consisted of field greens, walnuts and tasteless mandarine oranges - only one tiny piece of avocado in the entire salad. The serving of tuna was about half of the normal serving size given at most comparable establishments. My dining partner ordered the seafood special which consisted of shrimp, one crabcake, scallops (for an extra $7.95 on top of the $27.95 - which was never mentioned by the server) and one side item. This entree was good but nothing special - especially for $35.90. Overall, a large disappointment. Maybe seafood just isn't their forte? Will not be returning - wasted $80.00!
