Brookwood Animal Clinic: Stachmus Aaron T DVM

I have been taking my dog Sammi to Brookwood Animal Clinic for the past 5 almost 6 years. The docs and the staff are just outstanding! I would NOT take Sammi to any other vet. They are, WITHOUT A DOUBT the BEST! Sometimes the words "Thank you" seem so insignificant; however, I want to thank the entire crew for the great care they have given Sammi. more

We have been taking our 2 dogs to Dr. Lewis (and now the newer vet that is also here) for the past 6 years. Dr. Lewis is absolutely wonderful and he is very knowledgable. He has taken awesome care of our dogs, like they are his own. I always feel comfortable taking them to this vet and will never go anywhere else! more

Brookwood has taken excellent care of all our animals (3 dogs, 2 cats and a rabbit) for the past 3 years. Their offices are super clean and family operated with competitive pricing and discounts on certain procedures/treatments if you pay in cash. The staff is always really professional and friendly, answers our questions and gets us in for appointments pronto. Dr. Lewis has a ton of common sense and experience (cured one of our dogs, a stray, of heartworms). I moved from Schrag Animal Clinic after 7 years when I started questioning pricing and after an incident where they put my bunny under anesthetic to spay her but upon realizing that she was female, called to tell me they didn't feel comfortable doing the procedure. ?? Dr. Stachmus is very knowledgeable about bunnies, handles her gently and cured her when she stopped pooing. My husband left Awesome Care right before we were married for pricing reasons too. more

I recently obtained a Chinese Crested and the breeder recommended no Lepto vacs and to push back the rabies until 6 months. This clinic was very understanding to my needs and concerns and took excellent care of my little one. Their office was very clean and professional. more

There have been a couple occasions when I have stopped in here for my pet and the staff was very rude and the prices where out of sight. They are not competitive with the other local vets. more

We have a 2 year old Mini Yorkie . Gizmo become very sick and almost died! Gizmo is only 2 pounds and is full grown. he is apart of my family and is one of our children! When he got very sick they took care of him like he was human! ( he is to us!!) the price was not bad. and when he had to stay over night he had his own room!! PROS: price. great doctor CONS: zero more

I use this hospital to care for my golden retriever. They have always been courteous and professional--and I have always felt my pet was being cared for well. I recommend without hesitation. more
