FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE 10/28/2011

I've been getting Brooklyn Boys for about 2 years, now, and they're great! Their Pizza is awesome as well as the calzones and bakes ziti. They're extremely helpful, and make everything to order. Their delivery time is excellent, too. The only 2 improvements I'd like to see are upgrading to having their own website, and for them to use a computer to store each customer's information instead of having to give them your address, phone number, etd. more

Recently been there and eveyone who worked there was sittting down. I ordered a calzone ,it was undercooked and the cheese wasnt even melted on the inside. I had a slice while I was waiting and it tasted dry and old. I told the guy AND HE SAID THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND THATS HOW HE ALWAYS MAKES IT. I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING .THE BEST THING FOR ME TO DO WAS SAY TO HIM THATS THE LAST TIME YOU WILL GET MY MONEY.The pizza and atmosphere changed a lot.They should find that guy Tim Otoole and his wife and bring them back. Hes the one who originally made the Brooklyn Big Boy. Theres something shady about that place now. They stare at you too while your eating. My name is Mike Furia and I lived in Brooklyn and movd here three years ago. My kids told me about this place and the last 2 yrs it was good Since Christmas it aint been the same. Best NY pizza in Cary! 2/21/2009

Brooklyn Boys Pizza is some of the best pizza I've ever had, the crust is chewy, they don't over do the sauce like some places do and the cheese is amazing - as well as the other toppings! They are fast, very friendly and in a convenient location. Cons: They don't deliver more

Best pie in NC!!! 1/31/2009

I finally went back because my neighbor had been raving about the pizza for a few weeks now and telling me that the new management staff was a vast improvement over the previous(about time) one. I stopped going there because the pizza was bland and the staff was odd to say the least. Well, I can say that this is without a doubt the best pie in NC! I was a little wary after reading the 2 negative reviews but it became obvious after reading them that they were both written by the same person. They misspelled the same words and used a lot of the same words as well. That proves there are a lo of miserable people in this world. Enough about that. Great Pizza, I will be there at least once a week from now on! Pros: Great pizza that has the real NY taste Cons: There's only one of these places more

I recently decided to give Brooklyn Boys another chance since I heard from some friends they changed management... Let me just say that this is hands down the best pizza in NC. The old staff was very rude and the quality of their product was so inconsistent. Finally we have some great pizza in Cary!!! Pros: Real New York Pizza!! more

what up with the pizza...........i dont no what wrong with the pizza at brooklyn boys buttttttttt..... is not the same. the pizza is gross,has no taste to it like eating frozen pizza. i was eating at bb about 2 times a week or more.time 4 me to go find a new pizza place.dont wast your money there ITS NOT GOOD AT ALL...........the family that was there made the best pizza.was friendly to all not like the men there naw. never go back.......................... Great service and great food!! 10/4/2008

All the food here is so great!!! We eat here about 2 times a week, between the NY style pizza and the Gnocchi's we can never decide what to get. I am from NY and this pizza is the closest I can find here in NC. The family that owns it is always so friendly and nice when we go in!! They have even upgraded a bit and started waiting tables and making it more of a restaurant and not just a pizza joint!!! Pros: Service, food, everything Cons: I cannot think of one thing that is bad about this place more

Found A Real Pizza Parlor 9/2/2008

Honestly, I wasn't looking for this place but stumbled onto it after sampling a ""real"" NY bagel store. What was dissapointing about my bagel store was more than made up for with my pizza discovery. The crust was perfect and the sauce was very tasty. Also sampled their marinated mozzerella which was extremely flavorfull. I'm from Brooklyn living here about 3 months now and now I at least have a favorite pizza parlor. Pros: Great food, homemade, travels to ny to get some supplies. more

Felt like we were home in New York............ 8/10/2008

We heard about Brooklyn Boys but never got around to eating there until today. We live about an hour away and happened to be in the neighborhood of Brooklyn Boys (gps told us that), so we decided to try it out and besides we were just dying for some real NY tasting pizza. To our delight, it was worth every bite and the young man and his wife that were working there today were just as excited as we were to know we were in heaven with our first bite. Being from Long Island, NY and living in NC just about 3 years, we have finally, and I mean finally found a place like home. They will for sure see us again. Love the pizza 12/21/2007

We drive to get Brooklyn Boy's Pizza. The pizza is always good, even with the special toppings we get. I used to work around the corner from here, so we went for lunch. The booths are old-style, which contributes to the feel of the place. The folks who work there have always been nice. more

Unpredicatable Pizza 10/9/2007

When we first ate here in May 2007, the pizza was excellent! It honestly was the best pizza I ever had in NC (I'm from NY). However, the past 3 times I've ordered pizza, I've gotten the wrong toppings and/or a rock hard crust. Once I even tried to order pizza 2.5 hours before they were suppose to close and they had stopped answering the phones. When I stopped in (I live right around the corner), they told me that they ran out of pizza dough. How does a pizza place run out of pizza dough 2.5 hours before they close? WOW...what a deal! The Big Boy Pizza is delicious and perfect for a family of four...you even have leftovers! The pizza is NY style and we love it. They will cut it anyway you want and in squares is perfect, easy and not messy. Just one word of caution...The Big Boy pizza....for a family of four...don't buy two....just TOO much pizza!!! :-) more

BROOKLYN BOYS has the best pizza in the Triangle. Period. No other pizza is as authentic. The food isn't watered down like the other restaurants chains in the Triangle. The service is excellent and the staff is fantastic and personable; that alone will make you want to come back. The prices can't be beat either. Despite its boring Cary locale, Brooklyn Boys delivers an excellent slice. The cheese has that chewy bite that a true NY style pizza should have, the crust is superb, tasty sauce. I've never had the opportunity to have a pie from there, but they look pretty damn good. My only gripe, and this seems to be the norm these days, is that requested topping just sort of sit there, and arent' integrated into the actual slice. Anothe nice thing about this place, especially now in this stinking heat, is their italian ices!
