Brooklyn 83rd Precinct Police

I'd like it if the police ever responded to calls to come out. I've been complaining about these guys in my building that are drunk and high all the time, blasting loud music and causing a commotion at all hours of the day and night and nothing ever gets done about it. more

I am new to the Bushwick area and I never thought I would encounter such disrespect for duty as I've experienced with this precinct. Clearly, the loaf around, don't answer the phone, abuse 311 as their personal secretary, and still don't follow-up and respond to non-emergencies. I've lived here going on two years, and consistently have a blocked driveway. If they ticketed those cars, there would be less parking in front of a driveway that I pay to park in. They've never, not once, come to ticket a car once I put in the request with 311. more

Im old school here & was wonderin if the 83rd was located on decalb & wilson ? I was 13 when i left bklyn & now it seems maybe i had it wrong. plz inform me if this is so more

No matter how many calls are placed to 311 or directly to the precinct they have never responded. Cons: completely unresponsive more

How many freaking times have I called 311 and 911 for help with loud noise from cars, loud noise from a recreational area built in a residential-zoned lot playing volleyball well into early morning, drug deals, gunshots, illegal alcohol selling, fireworks, etc.? Having been born and raised in Bushwick . My memories are much more than taking my first walking steps. The neighborhood has undergone many changes. Both postive and negative. As a self taught artist I like to go back to this neighbor for new inspiration and vision for the future. I like the new look of the 83rd Precint. What made this Precint so unique was the courage of officers had during my residence in Buskwick. I have pictures of which I have included in my survivor story book. As a single parent it was difficult raising four children in a once bad neighborhood. The officers not only had programs for my children to attend. They helped my family to feel safe. I am glad and very proud to see my old neighborhood looking alot better with hope for the children and their future. I know it would not happen without the right team effort. more
