The man answering the phones was very rude and aggressive. I was very angry when I got off the phone, but since I know the school has different drivers, I figured I'd stick with the school. It's one of the cheaper ones in the area, and has a (halfway) decent reputation.
The morning of what was supposed to be my first lesson, the angry man from the school called to reschedule. Instead of having lessons Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, I was supposed to have them Wedy, Fri, and Sun. The change wasn't a huge deal for me, so I went with it. I had two hours of lessons on both Wednesday and Friday, and the lessons went fairly well. The instructors were friendly which helped me to relax, and give me little tips that made me feel at ease. We went over the road test standards of the 3 point turn, backing up in a straight line, and parallel parking.
However, on Sunday, I waited for over half an hour for the instructor. No one showed up, and no one called to reschedule. The school had been picking me up from where I work, so I had to commute to make it to the Sunday lesson, which was a huge waste of my time. I called the school multiple times on Monday to find out what happened and to reschedule, and all day I either got a busy signal or a voicemail, which kept me on hold for over five minutes (multiple times), unable to leave a message. I sent an email to the school Monday afternoon, and got no response. Eventually I was able to leave a voicemail Tuesday evening and I explained what happened. I got the angry man on the phone again, and he had apparently failed to add me to the schedule for the Sunday (in spite of them calling me to reschedule in the first place). Then he told ME to calm down on the phone without offering any apologies or explanations!! He rescheduled me again for a lesson the next Sunday, in spite of the fact that when I originally called to schedule my lessons, he yelled at me for trying to space them to far apart! In a business transaction I expect to be treated better for my money and my time.
