Brookhaven Mri

I've had many MRI exams and my experience here was definitely better than other places. I went in right on time and the tech talked to me throughout the exam (though I hardly understood what he was saying with the earplugs in). I was done in 30 minutes and the doctor that injected me was very friendly and excellent with the needle...even tough I have horrible veins she got it right away and I didn't feel a thing. It usually takes 3 tries and I'm left black and blue, not here though.\r My dr. was very happy with the quality of the images and the report. \r Pros: knowledgable, professional, fast, pretty open for a 1.5 tesla Cons: noisy (though i'm told it's because it's a powerful machine) be sure to get the earplugs more

My experience here was awful. I scheduled a lumbar and thoracic MRI and when we arrived at the facility they told me I could only have one of the MRI's done and would have to come back another time for the other one. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THIS when I scheduled the appointment. This is a huge inconvience for me because I am not able to drive and have to depend on a ride to get to appointments. It also messed up my doctors appointment I had scheduled. The office manager Debi was very rude and just kept saying it wasn't hurt fault that she did not schedule my appointment. Then she blamed my insursance saying they would only cover one procedure at a time. Well guess what when I called my insurance they said this was a lie. Do not go to Brookhaven MRI. They are just trying to rip off you and your insurance company. Pros: Nothing Cons: Rude people who lie more
