I have been at this practice for years!! It was a really friendly atmosphere where personal attention was key by Dr. Bilmes.. Although Dr. Dickenson is good; I agree getting an appt w/ him is impossible... I have tried to establish a dr/patient relationship w/ a particular intern however I was very disheartened today.. I requested a particular medication; which my records show that Dr. Bilmes wrote various times.. But no, the intern insisted upon his way..So sad that history doesn't account for anything.. I will be finding another practcice for myself and my family...what a shame! If impersonal and interns are ok with you; this is the place for you! more

i have to strongly disagree with mdwyer & lala. I'm also a patient of Family Medicine for years, and have found the office staff quite accomodating. They are always pleasant on the phone, and when i need an appointment they do thier best to get me one as soon as possible, and that goes for paperwork and refferals i have needed also. As far as the doctors are concerned they are a great group of up and coming professionals. I find the remarks from these two are because they are Bitter, Pain in the Neck patients that think they are the only patients these doc's have. I'm sure you won't be missed. See ya! I would highly reccomend Family Medicine and have to family and fiends alike. more

As mdwyer1 said, the office staff is nasty and unprofessional. I have been a patient of Dr. Dickinson's since I was in high school. Like the ratings before, I was a true fan of this practice. However, since this new office opened, getting an appointment with Dr. Dickinson is nearly impossible. The doctors you are redirected to are resident doctors who fumble through the appointments. TAnd this fumbling only comes after you spend literally hours [the last two times I'd been there I waited 2 hours and 10 mins and 1 hour 35 mins] to be seen. These doctors have given me the wrong perscriptions, misdiagnosed simple illnesses, and even gave me a pregnancy test when I was complaining of strep throat (that was after I had told the doctor I just had my period two days prior!) He had told me I could never be sure. Unless you can guarantee to see Dickinson and avoid the office staff completely, please find someone else to take CARE of you! more

The doctors are wonderful, the problem is the office staff. A group of lazy, nasty, middle aged women. In the 7 years I have been going here, every need regarding paperwork of ANY kind is at least a two week production. They never call you back and never process anything correctly. It's a constant run around with them between insurance and pharmacy and everytime it has been their office staff causing the delay. I have finally had enough and will be leaving a doctor I adore because of the complete ineffiency and rudeness of her staff. more

Delete more
