It's a toss up between here, Landini's in Little italy, new York Pizza in Carlsbad and Sicilian Thing. All are so good I honestly can't choose which ones I like the best.

Worst

Pizza is good, no doubt but the guy at the counter was arrogant.

Best Down-And-Dirty NY Pizza Spot 2/21/2007

This isn't your fancy wood-fired gourmet pizza. It's down and dirty, slice-of-NY-pie-on-two-paper-plates pizza. We've been going here for years. The toppings are terrific, but the crispy crust is so tasty, you could eat it plain. \r \r Yeah, the parking is a bit of a chore and seats are limited - especially on a warm Friday night, but you just can't beat this place for NY thin-crust. Pros: Pizza, like the service, is consistent, no-nonsense, unfussy perfection. Cheap! Cons: Parking, limited seating. more

Avoid Altogether 11/21/2006

We were highly disappointed with this pizza. Being of Sicilian and Neopolitan descent and born in Brooklyn, NY I truly was raised with the most delicious food. My parents and I found the pizza without flavor, and burnt. more

Best NY Pizza..... in San Diego! 5/19/2006

If you're looking for some good thin-crust, NY style pizza in San Diego, this is the place. They serve a big selection of pizza by the slice here. Order up some slices, grab a seat, and 5 minutes later, you're folding up and biting into an authentic NY pizza. The only downsides are parking and a small dining area. However, the pies are so good over here that you overlook all that. Pros: Pizza by the slice, Authentic NY style Cons: Limited Parking, Limited Seating more

Home away from home... Lacking a place to hang out and have an excellent slice of pizza? Stop! Go to Bronx Pizza in San Diego, CA. Members of the crew are awesome, the location is small however, quaint and the pizza is to die for... I'm not talking about fancy pizza. Just good old fashion pizza just like my uncles pizza place in the Bronx. Affordable, enjoyable and a wonderful experience. Pizza how's it's supposed to be. New York Style 9/20/2003

Supposedly the family that runs this little pizzeria imports its water from the Bronx, and that gives this pizza its authentic taste. Either way, you really feel like you're back in NY when you downing a slice over their red-and-white-checker covered tables. Drinks are serve-yourself in a super relaxed environment. Seat yourself, but large groups may be annoying to find seating for. Pros: fairly inexpensive, good value, quick service more
