I heard good things about BE and thought I would give them a try, Well, they told me 6 to 8 weeks, but it turned out to be about to be about 4 months. Then their "3 to 4 day job" took about 8 weeks. There was no communication from BE side. I had to continually call to get updates and to coordinate the build. Jamison, the "sales rep" did a good job of selling, but a terrible job of communicating the changes and the project to BE. It became a second job. In addition, he did not explain the material used, how it would be built, suggestions or examples on pros or cons of doing it one way over the other. I would have changed the layout if I knew then what I know now.
When the build finally started I thought it would get better. It didn't. I had problems with the workers not showing, the design being wrong and not planned for and material not being ordered. I had to call and make sure things were going to be there. In addition, there were parts of the job that I had to do myself to show them how it should look. Again, that comes down to communicating was is sold and was is reality.
Furthermore, don't let BE do any electrical work for you. When they ran some wires for us, they didn't put one screw through the wire, they put two. They grounded the whole system and could have caused a fire. I had redo the wiring to make it safe.
With all this being said they final product isn't bad. Even though it took a lot of time and a few headaches. So if you don't mind doing some of the work yourself, being a project manager, an electrician and don't mind it taking a while, then BE is for you. If you do go with them get everything in writing. Sometimes even then they will argue with you. Good Luck.
