My daughter and I really enjoyed lunch yesterday. We split the Reuben and the Eggplant Parm sandwiches. We had coffee. Even their decaf is good. Everything was tasty, and we know food, as we have both worked in restaurants. Very nice waitress. Excellent Health Dept. rating. Clean bathroom. One warning if you go there: Don't park in the spaces under the billboard, or your car will be covered with bird poop. more

This diner came highly recommended from a lifelong Stockbridge resident so we visited last night. The service was great and our server was attentive. The problem was with the food and with the attitude after they realized we hated it. Appetizer: Deluxe Cheese Fries with Bacon Bits. They were out of bacon bits and the ""fries"" looked like leftover homefries from breakfast. They were swimming in cooking oil and were hard, brittle and dried out. The cheese was melted but already rock hard by the time they came out. The cheese and the ""fries"" were crunchy. Entrees: Cheeseburger & fries. The burger (medium-rare) was virtually charcoal and the fries (real french fries this time) were crunchy and dried out. Gyro platter with greek salad. The cucumber slices were shriveled up and dry, as were the olives. The white sauce came pre-packaged in plastic to-go cups and was hard on top and very lumpy throughout. Odd consistency but the flavor was ok. The feta cheese came in a large slice and not crumbles. I didn't care but I took one bite of the gyro and realized the cheese was rancid. It tasted and smelled of sour milk. I could eat only the one bite. I wondered if it was warmed up from frozen as when I picked it up to bite out of it, a bunch of water poured from the foil wrapper (not grease, straight up water). The meat was dry and the lettuce was wilted. Side: Macaroni & Cheese. I thought mac & cheese was an easy side to make. This one was overcooked to the point of being mushy. It was so mushy that when you tried to spoon some out of the bowl, it mashed. There was no flavor and it was very bland. None of the food was really seasoned. After bringing our food, the server stopped by a couple of times to see if everything was ok. However, when we stopped eating in disgust and waited patiently for our check, she was nowhere to be found. We had to have another server go in the back to retrieve her after we'd waited for her about 10 minutes. They were sorry we didn't like the food but there was ""nothing we can do"". Then, ""Thank you, come again."" NO THANKS. A waste of $35. I couldn't get a break on inedible garbage but maybe I'll save you the hassle, the disgust and the money. Pros: don't bother! MY wife and I dined at the Stockbridge location on Highway 138 last night and ordered their gyros plates and we were ""very disappointed"" with them!!!! First of ALL: We had to pay $1.50 extras for Feta Cheese, Secondly; We really did not like the ""fact"" that our gyros' came out already made up and Thirdly; We hated that the tomatoes and onions were chopped up together and ""were already"" inside the pita; I do not eat onions!!!! A ""REAL"" Gyros Plate comes ""open face"" and has ""a heaping portion"" of gyro meat, ""shredded onions"", ""sliced tomatoes"", a pickle slice, ""feta cheese"", zakiki sauce, french fries, and pita bread that has been brushed with olive oil and ""warmed' on the grill.. Cons: Over Rated, Over Priced and Everthing Cost Extra!!!! more

to guests. I Like everything I've ever tasted there, but always end up ordering the Greek Salad and Gyro. Gyro dressing is the best. Help is always courteous and willing to help. Very accommodating, even if you want something not on the menu. I will be very dissappointed should they ever close. A non-alcoholic, family-oriented place with a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages to choose from. A great place to go in order to satisfy everyone in your family or party with whatever taste they might have at the time. Going here will not break your budget because everything is reasonably priced and the portions are oversized! It is rare that we don't leave with to-go boxes when we are done. What a great place to experience various foods!! The concept is great!! What a way to take an existing structure and make it into a local favorite!! I enjoy every visit! The portions are large and the price very appealing. The price is an attractive element. I have never had a bad experience here. The wait staff is great!! You see very little turnover in staff...that should tell you something. They are treated very well. The desserts are amazing and are a must try! Just visited after being stongly reccomended by some people we met. We enjoyed it immensly, our service was excellant and the food was great. The selection and variety of food was really good and also the deserts were fantastic and big portions too ! Also very reasonably priced. We did however have one sour our experience which was encountering a drunk guy who was eating there and who was very rude and barged by and acted a fool, he seemed to know the manager who was there when this happened and should have done something regarding it, so shame on the manager for not kicking the guy out and letting him ruin what otherwise had been a wonderful experience. Otherwise apart from this, great place and we will return, we just hope the drunk guy was a one off and not a regular thing.
