Brigitte's Hair Studio

We went to Cleveland from Virginia for a special event. I wanted my hair to look great. After some research online and reading reviews I called Brigitte's. She came in on her day off to do my hair. ON HER DAY OFF!!! When I'm in Cleveland I'm going back to get my hair done. Not only did she do a great job on my hair, she was sooooo nice!! What a pleasure it was talking to her. I was in Cleveland for work this past summer. The first time I called Brigitte she let me come in on her day off because I had an important work presentation the next day...I didn't know this would be the best hair cut of my life. I didn't really know what I wanted but she helped me figure it out (not really much to do as I just needed a male hair cut). I continue to go to her even though I live 120 miles away now when I go to Cleveland on business. Overall...Incredible service, Amazing talent. HIGHLY recommend. more

I recently came back from Japan after working over there, and was used to the costly but stylish cut I could receive at a Japanese salon (compared to the more hurried, ""push-in push-out"" cuts I had grown accustomed to at the cheaper American salons). more

Brigitte has been styling my hair for nearly 21 years --- and I can't imagine going anywhere else! Whenever I come back home after one of Brigitte's fabulous haircuts, my husband tells me that I look 10 years younger than the lady that left the house earlier that day. It's true -- since Brigitte styles your hair to fit your face and your lifestyle. I hate styling my hair with blowdryers and brushes on an everyday basis. Brigitte cuts it so I have a choice to either spend extra time styling it or I can just ""scrunch it"" and let it style itself naturally. Either way, I've always gotten tons of compliments. Brigitte is a true professional and helps me work with, and be realistic about, what I've got growing atop my head. I love the fact that her studio is small -- just Brigitte! She also does a great job shaping my eyebrows whenever I get a cut. Her studio is very, very clean and there's always mellow music playing softly in the background. My wife had a consistently bad experience with several hair salons in Beachwood and Highland Heights and cried after every haircut. She came to a conclusion that somehow there is no hairstylist in Cleveland area who can handle her hair in the way she likes and the only way to live with that is to grow them back to below shoulder length. She was very miserable because of the way her hair looked. That was until I discovered Brigitte and her hair salon. Making an appointment was very easy. She picked up the phone and she was available for the next day appointment. Her hair studio is in the theatre district. It is easy to get there via freeway and easy to park - the public parking is literally across the street. I explained our situation over the phone and explained it in details when we came there (my wife does not speak English and she needed an interpreter -me). Brigitte assured us that she sees where the problem is, she knows what to do and the outcome will be fabulous. We went through a professional catalog of haircuts so my wife was able to pick up things that she liked and that she hated. So Brigitte got a very good idea about her preferences, discussed with us what would work well with my wife's type of face and her hair and started her work. It was done with the extensive attention to details. Many times through the work she would stop, explain what she was doing and what she has done so far. It was no rush, she was taking all the time she needed to make the hair perfect. And the results - my wife was smiling and she said to me in the car on the way home that she looks exactly how she looked on one picture when she was 10 years younger. We will come again, for sure. For those of you who are disappointed with the quality that you receive in the fancy hair salons, who is afraid to go to a hairstylist because they will mess up your hair again - try Brigitte's hair studio. She is the solution to your hair problems and you will lose your fears of a hair salon after visiting her. more

I just returned from Brigitte's after being there the first time. Just wonderful!! The first comments I heard from some fellow residents was, ""You look 10 years younger."" Brigitte cuts hair to complement your face and I think that makes a big difference. Everyone can copy a cut, but can they make it so that it looks good on you?? I have been coming to Brigitte for more than 20 years, and would not think of going to see anybody else. She is simply the best in her profession. She provides personal Eurpoean-trained service. When you are in her chair, you leave your troubles outside her door. You get her undivided attention, precise and creative hair cuts, and superb color service. She also carries a nice line of hair-care and skin-care products. Simply said, she is worth your time. Pros: Convenient Playhouse Square location and best service in downtown.
