Bright Now! Dental & Orthodontics

I chose Bright Now because they are a preferred provider of my insurance. I scheduled a new patient appointment and could not get in for a month, I explained when I made the appointment that I needed to be seen immediately because of an infection I had with several teeth. I was told to come in the following day between 3 and 5pm because they see patients on a "stand-by emergency" basis. I arrived there at 2:30 and was very rudely told that there was no way I was going to be seen and that I should have called first. I explained to the very rude "Office Manager" that I had called the previous day and was told to be there by 3pm to be seen as an emergency. She was so rude I wanted to jump across the counter and tell her to take her attitude and shove it! I called my insurance company and they said that they have had several complaints about that place and offered to switch me to another provider. I would not ever recommend that place to anyone! more

I have not had a good experience with the Federal Way location. Your staff discusses things like detedtves wanting case files. Your staff is indifferent and sometimes rude over the phone. in other words I am always wrong and they are right. One of your staff actually walked into the room during my tooth extraction and said""Wow that's a lot of blood!"" My advice train your staff that a customer comes first. I will be looking for a new dentist for myself and family. Unfortunately your location has my x-rays. more

The staff at this office is very helpful, affordable and friendly. I feel very comfortable and confident coming here and bringing my children. I am always amazed that they recognize me after 6 months between visits. The doctor was very clear about the procedure/s and has been able to give options that will work with my budget since we do not have dental insurance. I would strongly recommend this office. more

Everyone in the Federal Way office is great! My children like the fact that Dr. Sodu is patient and she doesn't scare them. The assistants and hygienists are all very professional and patient. I am glad I had to choose a DMO through my job and Bright now dental was one of clinics to choose from. - Joni K. more

Hi. This places is committing insurance fraud. They will charge you more if you have insurance, and while one only pays 50% or the co-pay; they are ripping off the insurance company. Avoid this place at all costs, they also make you wait for over one hour. I was price 3700 for a treatment and the price was raised to $6500 when they realized I had insurance. The staff responded: we are giving you a $1300 discount and insurance pays 50% of it, So you only pay $3200. more

I seemed to have the opposite kind of experience that the last reviewer did in 2008. My husband and I have been going to this dentist for approximately the last year as have our 2 girls. I even had an issue with one of my fillings and went back a few more times for them to adjust it to make it more comfortable. They did not charge me for the return visits at all and made sure I was happy. My husband has had extensive work done and really liked his dentist too (which was a different one than mine). He was also very happy with the work that was done. The office staff is very friendly and they did know our names. They were wonderful with our girls and neither of them are afraid to visit the dentist in the least. They actually look forward to getting their teeth cleaned. The desk ladies were very professional to us and the billing asistant helped us with some insurance issues that popped up. I'm sure we will be patients of theirs for a long time to come. more

If I could have given this business ZERO stars, I would have. Usually I do not give online reviews but I feel one is warranted in this case. \r \r Bright Now Dental in Federal Way, WA is an unprofessional place of business wherein the patient is good for only the amount of money in their wallet. Patients are required to pay prior to receiving service, and it is evident that the office overbooks appointments. I had an appointment with the oral surgeon and waited over TWO HOURS to see the doctor. Finally, I requested a refund and left without being seen - even though I had an appointment!! What kind of a business allows a client to wait for over two hours without any sort of explanation, apology, or understanding that the business is in the wrong? Oral patients that arrived after me were seen before me - what is the purpose of an appointment then? \r \r The office staff was extremely indifferent to the fact that I waited an absurd amount of time, which is evident in that they did not get me more
