Bright Eyes & Bushy Tails Veterinary Hospital

THE BEST PLACE EVER!!. I am so incredibly greatful and pleased with the staff and quality of care that my puppy, Veda is getting while in the IMU and in the oxygen cage. I cannot stress enough how amazing and supportive that the vets and vet techs have been. I have a 10 week old vizsla puppy that I got a week ago from Petland and she got incredibly sick with pneumonia about 48 hours ago. She was on oxygen and it looked like she wasnt going to make it but thanks to the wonderful staff I was able to stay with her all night and comfort her which calmed her enough to finally rest. I was a mess but the staff knew just what to do and were fine with me staying in their work area and holding Veda while she slept. I know that while Veda still has a tough battle ahead of her, that she was in the absolute BEST hands and that everything that could be done has been done. The night staff were great, making sure I was well accommodated for in every way. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who made this painful experience somewhat bearable: Dr. Allen Berger - WONDERFUL doctor who was top notch who went out of his way to let me know everything that was being done as well as my options. Also, all around great guy who legitimately cares about the animals he sees and made me feel much better about what I should expect. Veterinary Technicians - Amy and Emily were staffing the night shift and made me feel like family. Could not have done a better job :) -Crystal, Ashley and Katelyn working the day shift were wonderful at answering any questions I had and letting me know exactly what's going on with the puppy's condition. I feel comfortable knowing that these girls will take care of Veda and hold her if I cant be there. Thanks again for the wonderful care and kindness! more

Seems funny to write about tech support for a veterinary clinic but they do a great job answering questions. Over the years I've called three times but only had to go in once. They will talk on the phone when other area vets won't. more

Excellent service. They will answer emergency questions on the phone and talk which other area hospitals won't especially after hours. more

They say customer service is dead! I beg to differ (pun intended). Walking into Bright Eyes and Bushy Tails isn't like Norm walking into Cheers. But my dog Chance sure thinks so! One of the young ladies that works there is always so happy to pig him, and vice versa! I can tell that the people that work there really do care about the animals! Even though Chance is facing some bad news, I'm quite pleased with the various treatment options they suggested! He's been with me for such a long time. I like to give him the best treatment! He's doing quite well for an old dog! I'd have to say mostly due to Bright Eyes and Bushy Tails wonderful care! -Frank Bloomer more

I had recently moved to town and had read some good things about this clinic. I brought my dog in for a check up and vaccinations. at the end of the appointment I had been given a dental estimate that was rather pricey for my current financial means. I had mentioned that this was too much for me to afford right now, which obviously must have upset the staff here. Later that day I had received a call informing me that the had CALLED MY PREVIOUS VET to find out the price that they charged for a dental procedure to rub it in my face that they charged essentially the same price as them. I would not have been able to pay for a dental at my previous vet either!! I was going to come to this clinic for regular vet checkups as the facility was clean and the staff seemed knowledgeable, but now I will not set foot in this clinic unless emergency care is needed. Guilting your clients is not the way to keep them. I felt that I was severely being judged for the amount of money I was able to spend on my beloved dog. oh. And I found a wonderful vet in the area that is able to perform a dental with essentially the same standards for a fraction of the cost! Family Pet is where I'll be going for the remainder of my dogs care! more

My cats (Watson and Cricket) and I have moved around a lot and therefore have been clients at many vet clinics. BE&BT is fantastic! At first I brought them in for their annual check-ups, which was uneventful and reasonably priced. During an emergency visit however, at a later date, Watson needed an ultra sound and endoscopy and they were able to to it right in the office that day. I dealt with two different vets and they were both very knowledgeable and compassionate (which I needed more than the cat probably)! I highly recommend this clinic... more

Be sure to get a consultation and find out how much services will cost up front. Especially if you are having them come to you. They are good with the animals more
