Food is very good, but pizza was swimming in some ""juice"" -- may have been from the fresh veggies...but overall tasty. more

I got here looking for their phone 4/28/2012

I got here looking for their phone number and wow, the hate! The food's OK. The lasagne is pretty good. It's a fun place to take a kid. It is certainly not fine dining, and it certainly isn't New York pizza (nor is it Chicago unfortunately). I've found the service to be prompt and friendly but sloppy when it's busy: if there's a crowd, which there usually is, check your order, as something probably got forgotten. to the individual below who wanted a quarter-pizza different than the rest, and wouldn't accept the answer of ""no"": Grow up. more

Seriously... Pretty BAD! Filthy Inside too! 6/5/2011

After moving into the area, we found this place to be one of the only places around. Had a couple of decent pizza's the first time around, but it has been completely down hill since. For the last year, there has been something seriously wrong with every pizza we ordered. They are exteremely inconsistant. Last night I found a long curly black hair baked into the dough. That was it for me... enough is enough. The last positive review, reads oddly alot like their website... Hmmm. Don't wasted your time. more

Amazing food, great place to go 1/21/2010

I have been going to New York Pizza (the artist formerly known as Piecora's) for over 7 years. It is a great family owned pizza joint and has authentic new york style pizza. The staff members are personable and friendly. They really seem to like their jobs (as you can see when they sing and air-guitar to classic rock music) which makes the atmosphere very unique. Overall, great food, great service and very kid friendly. Be sure to check out the arcade while your there, its super awesome. Pros: The pizza, service and kid friendly Cons: Non more

The worst! 9/15/2009

I gave them my business because as a kid, I enjoyed this place - either they've changed or thankfully, my tastes have refined! Cons: overpriced, overcooked, poor quality ingredients more

Old Pizza 9/11/2009

The pizza was very bland. The staff would no accomidate my request to keep a small portion of the pizza plain cheese. more

I Will Never Walk into this Place Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9/2/2009

Best Pizza Joint in Seattle 1/26/2009

This place is great. The service, the owner (Ken) and the food. This is by far the best pizza in Seattle. We have looked for years until we found this place. We have been going back for many years now since we found it. The garlic rolls are addictive. The pizza is thin crust and always done to perfection. The only complaint I have is the cramped booths (but that is really my fault - too much pizza I suppose). I recommend this place to all my friends and have converted quite a few. Pros: Great food, great service, great fun more

Great Neighborhood Hangout---VERY kid friendly! 5/27/2008

Wait to be seated... Staff does not actively greet the customers, but maybe they're shy. Booths are a little cramped and worse for wear, but the place is very kid friendly. Crayons, paper, and a rock and roll music radio station playing make it a perfect place to bring the family. Staff is very relaxed..I don't know, I guess they could be more outgoing and smile more... Food service is quick though and portions are pretty huge. The garlic rolls are outrageously delicious (habit forming, really) and the salads are prepared as ordered-very FRESH! The pizza is good and made in a real pizza oven, so the crust has the old world taste. If anything, the dough could use a little more salt, but that's being picky. Generally, it's a friendly place, with reasonable pricing, and a laid-back atmosphere. Chill there and take your time. They won't rush your meal, that's for sure. more

My only choice 3/3/2008

I discovered Bridal Trails New York Pizza about 2 years ago and I haven't gone anywhere esle for pizza since. Great pizza, salads, lasagna, garlic rolls and beer. I love the easy goin atmosphere and the smell of a pizza in the oven. I love to check out their game room. They have pinball machines and games from back in the day and some that go back even farther. I highly recomend BTNY Pizza to everyone!!! Pros: Great pizza, classic arcade favorites, and value. more

I'll drive hours to get this pizza!! 11/15/2007

Well this is my first ever blog... but I gotta say something about this place.......OMG!!! It is so gooood! Ok, they have a family special that includes an extra large pizza and garlic rolls and the biggest trough of salad you have ever seen. There must be at least an entire head of lettuce in there. And the pizza is that really good new york style.....like thin, (but not a lame cracker crust) and huge pieces. And they make those little yummy sausage nuggets. And it's like only a little over 20 bucks for all that food.... Dang! It is so good that I'm going over there right now!! Oh, the service was friendly and good as well. Pros: Great food, great price, great value! Cons: Ambience could use a little work and they really need new booths. more

What happened? 7/23/2007

Years ago this used to be very authentic tasting back east pizza. Now, it isn't the same. Perhaps new owners? Not sure, but the atmosphere with red and white checkered tablecloths is still there and kid friendly. Brting the pizza back. Pros: Kid friendly Cons: Pizza isn't the same more

Good people but not good food. 7/17/2007

Being from Buffalo, NY myself, I was rather looking forward to eating some ""New York"" pizza again. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed in what they claim is NY style pizza. The Garlic rolls were pretty good, but the pizza was pretty bad. I wouldn't say it's as bad as eating the cardboard they serve at ""Pizza Pi"", but definitely not worth going back. Prices were somewhat higher than average. The service was good though, and the servers friendly. more

Great Pizza! Good for kids 6+ 6/15/2007

Seated promptly on a weeknight at dinnertime, immediate service with the most delicious garlic rolls and drinks. Kiddo had a great time with the classic arcade games! Pizza was FANTASTIC and HUUUGE slices. There are so many things on the menu that I wanted to try! Pros: Great Atmosphere, Amazing Pizza, Family Atmosphere Cons: Gets busy so food service can be a bit slow/ more

Great food 5/4/2007

The pizza was great. The meat has a great flavor that made stop eating hard. It was a great stop to the standard eating out. However they did mess up the order, they did not charge for it and had a backup that was worthwhile. If I make it back to this area (I am from Houston, TX), I know where to come get some great food. Pros: Great food and pizza, service was great as well Cons: None really more

Great local pizza joint! 11/23/2006

My bosses introduced me to this joint a little over a year ago and it is definitely one of the best pizza places around. While I'm not a New Yorker (nor have I yet traveled to NY) I have been told by people who are that this place is as close as they can get to a New York style pizza in the Seattle area, so I'll take their word on it. The one thing I will say is sometimes their pizzas can be a bit on the oily side (again, apparently New York style?) The pizza has always been done right and delicious, only down side would be even though I've shown up 5-10 minutes after when they say the pizza will be done, I usually end up having to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for the pizza to be done (they can get busy, so that does cause backups at times). All in all, if you want to try and avoid the mainstream pizza places, I would recommend giving this place a try - you'll probably find that you like it. Pros: Pizza, location Cons: Parking iffy sometimes, wait times more

No better pizza place 11/15/2006

There is absolutely no reason not to love New York Pizza. They've got a fantastic atmosphere where you can really feel the enthusiasm of the employees. It's a really enjoyable place to go and sit down and eat, you can bring your kids and let them get addicted to the fantastic classic arcade games, and the pizza is simply out of this world. Classic New York style thin crust pizza, and you can watch them hand toss the dough behind the counter. It really is a fantastic operation. We go every Thursday when it's less busy, since Friday nights are very crowded. But that's merely a testimony of the fantastic service, product, and atmosphere of this perfect little pizzeria. I would strongly suggest it to anyone who's looking for a great pizza be it to go or sit down. Go and try it for yourself, it's simply fantastic. Pros: Food, Ambience, People more

Awful! 6/30/2006

After years of going they cut out the free garlic butter rolls, but most importantly the pizza has changed! Crust terrible, ingredients lowest quality and the decor in the restaurant is falling apart! The seats are ripped and the chairs are stained. We will never go back! So dissapointed! Pros: Pizza and Garlic rolls are the best! more
