Years ago this used to be very authentic tasting back east pizza. Now, it isn't the same. Perhaps new owners? Not sure, but the atmosphere with red and white checkered tableclo...

New York Pizza Done Right 11/9/2007

I have had pizza from Bridle Trails NY Pizza a few times and I swear every time it gets better. I am from NYC and moved to Washington 4 years ago, and ever since then I havre searched for a place that serves authintic NY style pizza only to be dissapointed with bizzar combinations. All in all Bridle Trails NY Pizza serves NY style pizza the way it should be and I couldn't ask for anything better!!! more

Disgusting! Don't go here! 9/9/2007

I have tried this place a few times, trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, each and every time I have been disappointed. This place is disgusting. The pizza is limp and contains zero flavor. The calzones are delivered RAW! Yes, raw. My calzone (on both occasions) was still pure dough. Another time a kid was running in and out of the kitchen tossing this nasty ball around hitting food surfaces and food and the staff did nothing about it! DO NOT go here. Want good pizza? Go to Acropolis in Kirkland instead. Heck, buy a frozen pizza, will be far better than this place. [check out their food inspection reports...they speak for themselves] more

Got Taste 8/22/2007

...this place sure doesn't. I have eaten the pizza, calzone, salad & garlic bread and none are note worthy. The calzone came uncooked (the bottom was still dough and not cooked through) and the pizza was pretty bad. The pizza had almost zero flavor and was just a limp mess of cheese. Each time I go in, the staff seems to be goofing off and not focusing on the cooking and one time an obnoxious kid (around 10) was running in and out of the kitchen tossing a wet ball around. I have lived in Kirkland for 25+ years and this place has never lived up being called a pizza joint. Just not a great place...go elsewhere for pizza. more

Excellent Pizza and Calzones 7/31/2006

I'm eating a "Gotham" calzone between keystrokes. I used to go to New York Pizza back when it was a "Piecora's." I hadn't been there for about 5 years until I went there for lunch today. It is still the same great food. The people are nice. They have a game room with some classic games (e.g., Pacman, SeaWolf, Top Card pinball, etc.) to play while wait for your order. One of the things I appreciate about this place is the quality of ingredients. The meats taste like meat and not like byproducts (like the "macropizza" joints). The crust and sauce recipes are also top notch. It is well worth the drive. Call ahead to pick up. more

Family Friendly Pizza Joint 3/16/2006

Bridle Trails New York Pizza (formerly Piecora's) is a great place to grab some pizza. While you can get take-out and delivery here, it's the service inside the restaurant that will keep you coming back. Super-family friendly, the waitstaff will bring your kids paper & crayons, and they don't bat an eye when your tots scream at the top of their lungs or launch themselves over the back of the booths. Good beer selection, specialty pies, and delicious hot rolls with garlic & butter are some of the things that keep this neighborhood restaurant busy! more

my most favorite pizza!! 8/19/2005

This is my favorite pizza in a sit down restaurant. I haven't been to new York or Brooklyn, but apparently this is supposed to be a little of that kind of pizza brought to Washington! I really love the cheese as its the most flavorful thing on the pizza, just make sure to order extra cheese.. Their sauce is also not too dark or tomatoey, its almost a tad sweet.. I really like it a lot.. Also the Draft root beer goes GREAT with it.. They also give you a plate of dinner rolls soaked in butter and garlic and i love them.. This is probably the best pizza in Seattle, It over took pagliacci's which used to be my favorite, (and still is my favorite delivery).. I think Piecora's does deliver but I've only ever eaten in. Fantastic pizza and an average price epically for how good it is! more
