Worth a visit 5/17/2011

Wow. What an endless array of products this place has. A little something for everyone as they cover gardening stuff, plants, flowers, lawn stuff, farming stuff (which most people don't ever think about or know about), horse stuff, bird houses, birdfeeders, birdseed, cowbells, riding crops, wild animal feed, and stuff to repel wild animals. It goes on and on. Seriously. Outside they have all kinds of mulch, crushed stone, flagstone, cobbles, shrubs, trees, wooden stakes, trailers full of mulch hay. Pfft... I didn't know places like this existed. Seemed to be plenty of staff around and one guy spent a fair amount of time telling me about some of the stuff I had never seen. Was worth the visit just for the education. more

Old-timey family business 4/23/2011

Call me old-timer, but I love businesses like this one. Lots of good stuff for sale, not just lots of stuff in a huge bigbox store where you gotta walk a zillion miles with some huge cart. I find the poeple there know their stuff, and are quite happy to load your car with whatever you buy. more

GROUCHY PEOPLE 2/1/2011

True, this store has a lot to offer in product. But the customer service has a long way to go. I have never seen such miserable and unfriendly staff . If its not the grouchy men who work in the store, its the less than polite delivery men who drive the trucks. I asked if they carried a certain item and was met with; "Yup::: that was it, No ; "can I get it for you, or its in Isle 3:: Just YUP! I understand that I am not shopping in Macy's, but would a little bit of friendly service be asking too much? Every time I go there, its like I am putting these people out to get behind a register and ring up my purchases. If you HATE your job; GET ANOTHER JOB!!! more

I have used these guys for deliveries of mulch and loam many times over the years. All the staff have been helpful and courteous and there landscape products have always been top quality. I get my lawn supplies and winter ice melt stuff there, too.\r \r The store sells top brands of feed for just about every kind of animal, from lizards to elephants! Browsing in there is interesting time spent.\r \r The store manager, Al, is quite knowledgeable about the wide variety of products. more

these guys suck\r i ordered a truck of fill,they started to drive onto my lawn,sank 2 inches then drove away saying it was too wet to deliver,refused to send a smaller truck and tried to charge me a 65.00 delivery charge. more

We found this shop to carry a very wide variety of products from mulch to pet supplies. They offer great assistance, delivery service, and great prices. Even has gift ideas! more

They sell dog food but don't support dogs! 10/12/2008

This store has the food I like to feed my dog, but I received really shoddy treatment from them. I work for the ""Yes on 3"" campaign to end Greyhound racing in the state. When I asked the clerk if he knew about Question 3, he became hostile. I'm okay with people whose views differ from mine, but when I'm a customer, and I'm spending money in a store, I expect to be treated with respect. The clerk could have politely declined to discuss the issue with me instead of making me feel like an unwelcome intruder. I have no problem with the products at this store, but I won't shop there ever again. more

Good supply store 9/4/2005

Bridgewater Farm is a good retail landscaping supply company. We have purchased loom and mulch from them, and have been pleased. They offer reasonable prices, and offer a good delivery service. They were able to accomodate our busy schedule for delivery and were there when promised. They have a good supply of pet/feed products as well. They have good business hours and the staff is friendly. more

Bridgewater farm Supply has it all. They have all the farming supplies you need including, equipment, feeds, bedding, cages, fencing etc. They have all the landscaping supplies you need to beautify your yard or garden. All kinds of pet supplies and food, a great wildlife dept with all kinds of feed and equipment.. They have ornaments for your yard or garden, fountains, statues etc. They even sell wood, pellet and corn stoves to heat your barn, out building or home. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Make this your first stop, prices are great. more
