I had a wonderful experience with Bridgeport and am very pleased. My finace and I were purchasing our first home together before our wedding. I was a bit nervous about the whole process but it went wonderfully. The appraisal was even completed before our financing packet went to underwriting, we closed on time and there were no glitches with the appraisal report. The staff and the appraiser that I dealt with were very accommodating and helped the process go smoothly. I have reccommended many others to this company. more

My experience with Bridgeport is horrible 5/10/2005

We were closing in a townhome- the appraisal person came out 3 weeks before closing. The report was not submitted to the underwriter until 3 days before closing!! I called Bridgeport to complain that the services rendered were incompetent. I requested a discounted fee and was told that it was not their fault even though they admitted that 2 weeks to submit a report is too long. I do not ever want to deal with this company in the future. The services they provide are incompetent and unreliable if you want to close your purchase on time. more
