The Donated Beds... 11/23/2011

I am a resident of this homeless shelter and i want to add that- sadly enough yes, the brand new beds that were donated were thrown away. And it was all the choice of ONE woman. This woman does not deserve the job she has because her excuse for throwing these beds away was that they were not wrapped properly. The real reason was discovered that she did not want anyone to get too comfortable so they could hurry and GET OUT! you'ld all be surprised at what really goes on inside. We are mistreated and under-estimated. Something has to be done! This woman should be exposed. more

Nov 16, 2007 BRIDGEHOUSE HOMELESS SHELTER threw away BRAND NEW BUNK BEDS; donated for the woman and children. Woman and children sleep on army cots with NO bed linnen, while the men sleep in comfy apartments with beds and TV's! The donated bunk beds were found at the Lompoc Dump Thanksgiving Week! VERY SAD! SHAME ON YOU, BRIDGEHOUSE! Pros: NONE! Cons: They don't care! Turning away food and BRAND NEW BEDS, linnen/pillows etc. more
