Brides's Best Friends

I loved this store! I was there last week and thought the selection was amazing! I went in with my mom and my maid of honor and was worried because the girls in my wedding party are all different sizes and shapes. The woman I worked with was so nice and sweet and found something that would fit everyone! I read the reviews below and do not understand how someone could hate this store! The woman were very friendly and made me feel at ease when I was concerned. It's a great location and easy to get to. If anyone is looking for great service and beautiful dresses, this is the perfect store! Pros: The consultants are great! more

I was at Bride's Best Friends last Saturday for a trunk show and I had a great experience! I can't believe that I was at the same store as the previous reviewer. I was there with my mother and my bridal party. The consultants were more than professional, the store was beautiful and I ordered fabulous bridemaids dresses for my girls. Two of my friends had ordered their dresses for their weddings before and both had great experiences! I would highly recommend Bride's Best Friends. Don't let some bad reviews sway you!! I really don't think Bride's Best Friends even deserves a full star. Our experience there was horrible. I went along with my sister (the bride) and our mom and we have never felt so ignored. The consultants kept complaining/trying to explain how busy it was because of a ""trunk show"". This so called show was an extra rack of new dresses and complimentary cookies and champagne. They seemed to pour for themselves and offer other clients, but not us. They had 3 appointments and 1 person there to be measured - and you have to have an appointment to go. There were 6 consultants and no one acknowledging our presence. I don't know who these women think they are or how they manage to stay in business with this kind of customer service. I also don't see the point of needing an appointment when I'm doing all the work and being ignored. We arrived 5 min before our appointment and although we were ""checked in"", we were ignored for 15 minutes before we were told we could go ahead and start looking at/pulling dresses to try on. We were asked by 3 consultants if we were being helped, with the last one actually helping us. This help came in the form of taking the dresses out of our hands (many already falling off the hangers that were too heavy for the dresses) and plopping them down, in a tangled pile, on the chair in a dressing room. This consultant never came back to check in on us. The dressing room area was busy and crowded. The consultants were either gathered around one party chit chatting or walking back and forth acting flustered. During our 15 min trying on dresses a consultant peeked into our room looking for shoes for another client, another just commented on a dress I came out in (how she was ordering it for herself) and finally when we put on our coats, another asked if we had any questions or wanted her to write down any styles for us. Maybe they had drank too much, maybe the poles were too far up their..., but based on these other reviews I'm now reading, these consultants are just obnoxious and unprofessional. I am an out-of-town bride and was hoping to have a local bridesmaid drop in to try on the dress and get measurements but was shut down on the spot. The consultant from my local ""upscale boutique"" said I should be able to find shops where they would allow this because most consultants have similar situations with out-of-town girls. It would have taken maybe 10 minutes of their time. Instead, I am recommending to the shop owner to change their rules to help out brides from all over. It would pay off in the end with higher customer ratings. Cons: won't go out of their way to be helpful more

I had a wonderful experience getting my dresses from this store. Weddings can be stressful to say the least and the staff at Brides Best friends made me feel like I was part of their family. I had several bridemaids of all different shapes and sizes and before I got to the store I was worried that my best friends might feel uncomfortable in certain styles. The women who worked in the store were so familiar with my concerns and reassured me. I appreciated the personal attention, in particular from the owner, Liz who could have been my sister. They found the PERFECT dresses for my bridesmaids at competitive prices. I had the most beautiful wedding party. And I was stress-free. I wouldn't go anywhere else. AWFUL! Rude , obnoxious, stuffy...need I say more. I can't even begin to describe the type of place this is. The help is awful and the saleswoman think they are better than there paying customers...AS IF! They book 1 appt per 1 fitting room. As they knew I was coming there with 6 girls, they gave us 1 fitting room to try on dresses..the process takes forever and they over book appts by so many people. It was like a big cluster from the moment we walked in there. Even if I found my dream dresses for everyone, I would go somewhere else to purchase them. God only know how they would react if something went wrong. Chances are they would not care after they received payments!
