After a few other mediocre small and large bridal stores, Bridal Heirlooms was so refreshing. They have 2 hour time slots and are very accommodating of you and your family. You can bring multiple people with you, and take pictures if you want. The store is small and cozy, and you get very individualized attention. I tried on tons and tons of dresses, and even though I didn't have a very clear idea of what I wanted, they were very patient in trying to help me figure it out.
Both times I went there were never more than two appointments at the same time, on opposite ends of the dressing area (so no jockeying for mirror space like at large chain stores). I went a little over my time slot, because I was late coming from 2 hours away, and never felt any pressure to leave. They seem to take genuine interest in your wedding and your life (and remember it when you come back).
I had a lower budget for a wedding gown (than is usual for designer dresses) and they were very kind about staying within my budget. Eventually they sold me one of their sample gowns (on sale) for well under 50% of the original price. I was very pleased with my experience at Bridal Heirlooms.
