The owner of the bridal shop has no concern for the brides and there dresses that have been paid for in full that she has put into storage. There has been no effort to contact brides to allow them to pick up their dresses. She has closed her business account and has written numerous final paychecks to the employees. This was no surprise that the business failed after so many horror stories of brides not getting their dress until one week before the wedding. The money that a bride would put down as a deposit to order their gown would be used to order another brides gown that would arrive just before the wedding. Sandy was always juggling the customers money trying to keep her business a float. Beware ,rumor is she wants to open another bridal store under a new name of course in Roseville. BRIDES BEWARE! THIS COMPANY CAUSED A LOT OF UNNECESSARY STRESS! READ ON FOR THE WHOLE STORY. At first, this store seemed fabulous. They were helpful and said they could order my dress for cheaper than anyone else so I went with them for my dress and bridesmaid dresses. I only ordered my dress 5 months ahead of time, but they seemed to think this was no problem and told me to call a month ahead of time if I hadn't heard anything. I assumed this meant I would have my dress a month ahead of time, but was told the second time (3 weeks before the wedding) I called that they didn't know when I would get it possibly the week of the wedding. I was told that I should have expected this since I ordered my dress so late, but THEY NEVER TOLD ME IT WOULD BE A PROBLEM WHEN I ORDERED MY DRESS! After lots of talking, they finally said they would try to get me all of the dresses the weekend before the wedding. On Thursday before that weekend, they said the bridesmaid dresses had been shipped, but couldn't tell me anything about my wedding dress. We had to call the company and they said the dress was ready to ship, but they needed to talk to Bridal Boutique. They ended up shipping it overnight, which I was forced to pay. I got my dress exactly a week before the wedding. The store was very rude to me because I had contacted the company. They weren't going to do the alterations (after assuring me that they could do the alterations in one day so GETTING IT THE WEEK OF WAS NO BIG DEAL TO THEM), but ended up doing them in the end. The bridesmaid dresses came in on Tuesday...only 4 days before the wedding! Luckily they fit! IT SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT BETWEEN THIS STORE AND THE BRIDAL COMPANIES BECAUSE NO MATTER WHEN BRIDES HAVE ORDERED, IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE NOT GETTING THEIR DRESSES UNTIL RIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING. WE RECEIVED BRIDESMAID DRESSES ONLY 5 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING AND FABRIC FOR ONE OF THEM ONLY 3 DAYS BEFORE. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE DEALING WITH THIS STORE. Extremely high pressure sales - if you buy off of the rack, they'll offer to give you a discount (just like every other store), but only if you buy that very minute. This is so you won't go to another store and realize their prices are already at least 10% higher. Some very rude sales ladies too. more
