Best lunch spot in town!!! 8/31/2009

I am frequent customer at Brick Street. I think it is the best place to eat in greenville!!! They always accommodate me according to my needs. At lunch the girls from work and I sit down, order our lunch (the chicken salad is the best in town) and the service is so prompt and food always fresh and perfect! The other night I attended a birthday party for a close friend and the space was so elegant, with courteous servers, excellent food, and desserts to die for! Pros: prompt , courteous service. Excellent food. Cons: None. more

Incredibly rude management 7/31/2007

I was overcharged on my bill. Instead of making it right, I was treated so rudely. The management clearly would not give me a refund. When I politely pressed the issue, he grabbed the change jar from the register and very loudly took quarters from the change jar and handed me the quarters as my refund. It was demeaning in every way. Other customers were standing agape. I called back later and asked for the owner, and was told the owner lived outside town and could not be reached. When in fact, the owner was in the building. When I called back later and talked to the owner, she told me she would make things right and never did. Honestly, I have never been treated like that in a place of business, and I did nothing to provoke it. more

A Great Little Place in a Great Southern Town 6/23/2005

I've visited this place maybe six times over the past five years. We love to go when I visit family in Greenville. Don't be deterred by the (other person's) negative review--this place is uniquely great! The dining area is casual and relaxed, the wait staff are always prompt and friendly (and genuine), but the food is the crown jewel. Vegetable lasagna, Maryland crab cakes--you name it--it's all great here. Sometimes on weekends they'll even have live local musicians come in for a tasteful set of tunes. Enjoy! Pros: Atmosphere, Food, Friendliness Cons: Prices slightly steep, possibly understaffed more

Service from Hell! 12/18/2004

This was the worst service in the world. We waited 80 minutes for the smallest piece of fish I have ever seen. The waiter forgot the bread and NEVER once in 80 minutes came to check on us, bring us more drinks, or apologize for the wait. I would recommend everyone to avoid this place!!!!!!! more
