Expensive but probably the Best! 6/26/2010

I Followed Dr. Scott when he opened up his own practice years ago. He has helped me with many a litter of puppies.\r Dr. Scott's prices have gone up, but it must be to keep his education at the high standard that it is. \r I came back to Dr. Scott recently for one of my dogs that had\r an issue and I had confidence in Scott's abilities. I needed a \r refferal to a specialist. Yes, the BFPC, is on the expensive\r side. You need to know your pet/breed and not let any vet. talk you into procedures and always get an estimate. \r Thankyou Dr. Scott for you help, you're one of the best. Expensive but Good. I always refer people to you. more

My New Vet 5/28/2010

I recently went to Brentwood Family Pet Care, after moving from Florida. I was very happy with my old vet and wasnt sure if i could find one comparable. I walked into welcoming smiles and more information that i assumed i would get. They treated my pet with actual care, i felt respected. Thank you Family Pet Care, i will be sure to reccommend you to new friends i will be making. more

Brentwood Family Pet Care is quality. 7/23/2009

i've been bringing my pets to BFPC for 3 years and i love the care that is shown. yes, animals are pricey-that's why it's nice to be able to choose conservative or aggressive treatment by viewing the estimates and making an informed decision throught the doc's advise. they offer everything (which can be expensive) but at least they have the ability to do so. more

Very disappointed 6/15/2009

I have been taking my pet to BFPC for some time now. I am very disappointed in the things I have been told and frankly they are inappropriate to say about anyone's beloved pet. I would not recommend anyone bring their pet here. They are over priced, and I find them to be very disinterested in the care of certain pets. more

Taking My Business Elsewhere 4/8/2009

I have been using Brentwood Family Pet Care for the last year or two. I love the girls at the front and Dr. Land but they are over priced and I have finally had it with the constant 'Up Sale' approach and the repeated errors on my bill. I am taking my business back to Brentwood Veterinary Hospital.At Brentwood Family Pet Care, their billing person gets very annoyed when I question the charges on my bill. I have been overcharged for pills repeatedly, you'd think not a big deal except this place charges $35 a pill. They charged me for 4 extra pills - TWICE! Turns out it is a big deal but I was treated rudely for questioning it, even when I showed the reciept and the bottle. Oh well, they must have plenty of business and not need mine. more

Caring, friendly staff 10/4/2008

Been coming to Dr. Scott and his staff for quite a few years now. They have seen 5 of our pets. Always feel like they care about my pets when I'm there. Although some of the the girls up front are pretty young, their customer service skills are very much in line with a seasoned, professional, courteous receptionist. more

We followed Dr. Lichlyter here from another local vet and have been completely happy. The staff is friendly and seem to really like the animals. Both the death of an older pet and the first care for a newly rescured one we have been very pleased. more

The BEST place to bring your furry kids! 3/26/2008

BFPC is the ONLY place I will bring my "kids." The front desk is very nice and caring. They will negotiate pricing with you (i.e. my cat is declawed so when I get her nails cut, I ask for 1/2 price since she's only got 1/2 the nails). Dr. Lichlyter, the owner and main vet, is the best vet I have come across. He cares about the animals, he knows his stuff, and he's nice. A bit nerdy, but nice. :) They also have referrals in the area for specialists and offer any type of additional information and resources if you ask. more
