Racism at Bravo??? 8/8/2008

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton in downtown Denver for a weekend. We were dining at Bravo and several young African American's came into the restaurant to make reservations for their Prom night . At that point, we overheard the Manager of Bravo say that, ""those are not the kind of people we want here"". more

Get a kid named ""Watson"" to cook for you!! 2/9/2008

We're from Vegas, and have traveled the world tasting food from various hotels and privately owned restaurants. We got the special when we were at Bravo! and this short Asian guy was our cook for the night. We were watching him cook through the open kitchen. The food was amazing! Later found out from other sources, that it was his recipe and his special for the night. I asked for seconds. Pros: Great Specials from a cook Watson! Very artistic and kind kid. Cons: Doesn't have an Italian Menu. Not really Italian unless it's the Specials. more

Wow! What a great time!!! 2/2/2008

The food was a little fancy for our normal tastes, but we were amazed at how incredible it all tasted! We were hesitant to book a reservation because they advertise a singing waitstaff, but we were totally blown away with the whole experience. The singing was very mild and created a perfectly pampered experience. I had the Halibut with English Pea Risotto and my wife had the Bison Filet. Both were incredible. And save room for dessert because they are worth it!!! Pros: Great food, singing and ambience. Cons: Some of the food was new to us, but tasted great. more

Great for big parties 1/4/2008

I recently planned a dinner for 25 of my coworkers and employees. After shopping around for the right place I landed on Bravo! Ristorante. Weeks prior to the dinner I began planning. I spoke with and emailed the Assistant Manager who was very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful in planning a menu for the right cost and that would accomodate the entire group. We settled upon a wonderful halibut dish with a pancetta vinaigrette and bison filet with foie gras. more

Amazing dining experience! 1/4/2008

I visited Denver on a business trip and was referred to Bravo Ristaurante by a colleague from the Denver area. I decided to go to Bravo for a dinner meeting and it was one of the best dinners I've had! The food was delicious, servers professional, and the live show tunes were a charming addition. It was so good that I went back again the next night! more

Breaks the Bank! 1/9/2007

Food is mostly good, but small portions, and unbelieveable prices. Be sure to call ahead to find out.......they sometimes hand you a multi-course menu with no prices listed and wait for you to fall off the chair when they bring the bill. The entertainers are wonderful and almost worth the price of admission, but unless you're loaded and want to drop a bundle, beware. Pros: Great entertainment, nice atmosphere Cons: Ridiculous prices more

Wonderful! 3/11/2006

I have frequented this restaurant for 5 years, mainly for the waitstaff and the singing. But let me tell you, their new chef has really turned the food around. Delicious! If you haven't been their in 2006. GO BACK! Pros: downtown, FOOD!, singing more

Loved it 10/28/2005

Very good in all areas. When I was there, they had waiters singing at the piano. It is on the higher priced side, but still an enjoyable meal for the price. Nice ambience, live piano music, live opera being sung, very relaxing environment. Pros: Food, ambience, quiet Cons: Price more

Bravo! 8/8/2002

This was such an incredible date. If you are a musical or opera lover - you will love it. Definitely, go for the Halibut! Pros: Good Singers, Good Food Cons: Expensive Parking, Be Patient more
