Brass elephant is a the type of restaurant people don't really go to anymore. It's elegant and requires dressing up- if you don't, what's the point? Hubby and I went for our 2nd anniversary dinner. I started out with some sparkling wine and we shared a delicious seafood appetizer. It was closed eye good. Our entrees were nice as well. The most special part of the evening was when the kitchen painted "happy anniversary" on our dessert (rhubarb cobbler) plate. We were seated in the front window and could look out on charles street and watch an assortment of business people and hopkins students walk by.
Service was wonderful, food was quite well prepared and nice, atmosphere lovely. On the pricey side, but worth if for an every now and again splurge.
