I took my car to a auto shop that wanted to charge me 490.00 for a repair to my car. I felt this was price was outrageous . Maybe this was due my plates being from out of state. Maybe it was because I am a woman. My new neighbor referred me to the Brandon auto shop. He knew right way what was wrong with my car. They only charged me 250.00 for the same repair. I picked it up yesterday.. It runs great ! Thanks for being so honest. I do appreciate when people help I hope this helps you.. THE GUY IS EXCELLENT IN HIS FIELD. FIRST WE CALLED AAA AND THE LOCKSMITH REFED ME TO THIS AUTO SHOP. HE SAID THIS GUY WILL COME TO YOU HOME. HE IS FAIR PRICE AND HONEST.HE HAD USED HIM FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS FOR HIS FAMILY\r I CALLED THIS COMPANY . HE CAME OUT ASAP AND BAM IT WAS FIXED. THE STARTED WAS MESSED UP ON ONE OF WORK VANS, WITH IN 20 MINUTES IT STARTED RIGHT UP . HE ONLY CHARGED ME 120.00. WOW! GREAT PRICE HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND NICE. I \r \r \r \r DONT KNOW WHAT THE OTHER REVIEWS ARE ABOUT, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE A PERSONAL ATTACK. (WHY? THEY HAVE ALOT OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PERSON FOR SOMEONE YOU JUST MET????) To the two ungrateful friends that posted the last two comments. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves trying to get work done and not want to pay what's due. To the first one listed as ""dontcheatme"" Michele I haven't seen you in years and you all of a sudden want to come around cause you need something, you want work done for free, sorry you have to support your man but it is he who got your car in the condition that it is. Not us!!! As for ""robbed97"" You Joey are even sadder, you are Stan's friend and after you owing us 1200.00 we let you get your car for 500.00 cause we knew you didn't have the money but you felt cause he's your friend that we should let it go for nothing, no way!!! You going through tough times just like many people. We gave you a 700.00 cut and this is the thanks we get. We live and we learn, if you were any real friends you wouldn't wait until you need something to come around, what it's been like 5 years for Michele and you think we going to work on your car for free. As for Joey, when do you come around? Only now that you need something. With friends like this who needs enemies? more

When I took my car there I was hesitant because they only do business in CASH and will not accept checks or even money orders made out to the so-called Business. To my surprise after the owner took my car apart to diagnose it he informed me it was going to cost $1300 to fix. When he found out I had a warranty on the car, the cost and the issues suddenly started climbing astronomically to over $3,000. To make a long story short... he got his money for the repairs and instead of buying my parts & fixing my car he decided to take every penny of the money he received to fix my car and payed his past due rent on the place & other personal bills he had outstanding & lied to me telling me that he already ordered the parts & they are just taking a long time to arrive. 3 weeks go by and my car is still sitting out with my motor already dismantled all over his shop. Bolts laying around the areas where the hood closes caused the cowl grille to snap & break off when people opened & closed the hood of my car. I discovered scratches all over the hood as if it was used as an outside table. When I had enough & confronted STAN (owner) about the damages & the fact that he had my money he took his nail & scratched my car even more & told me not to worry about it because he has something that will buff that right off. He continued to lie about the parts until I called the place he supposedly ordered parts from & they informed me that nothing was ever ordered. Stanley then admitted to his hardship and that he spent that money to be able to keep his doors open otherwise he would not have been able to fix my car anyway. He explained that he is getting business now and that it shouldn't be but a couple of weeks at the most before he has the parts money together again. 3 MONTHS WENT BY and finally he decided to prioritize getting my parts because I had to threaten him with a lawsuit. In that timeframe I spent quite some time at that shop so I got a chance to over hear conversations he had with his Girlfriend Cynthia that runs the receptionist area about how they have not payed any taxes on the business since they've opened their doors and that the IRS would ask for thousands of dollars if they ever found out. Once the parts were ordered he took a month and a half to say that the car was finally fixed. When I go to pick it up, he tells me that I owe him another $1200 for the extra work he did putting the engine back together and that he won't release my car until I square him off. I was shocked at was I was hearing and almost wanted to commit a crime right where I was standing but held my composure. He also told me that the car needs a new intake manifold and that it needed new spark plugs and new battery terminals in addition to the $1200 and that if i square him off he will do the spark plugs for free and the other labor for free but I would have to pay for the other new parts. He would not return my keys and had his mechanic block my car in so that I can't take it with my spare keys. Hours later he comes back and tells me that he will let me take the car if I give him $500 even and that it had to be in cash but only if I sign a waiver saying that I will take the car as is and not hold them responsible for anything after I leave. I agreed to do that since taking legal action would have cost me more than what he was asking and i was too exhausted to continue arguing with him and his staff of crooks. To make matters worse, my car broke down on me not even 4 miles from his shop and would not start up again, it had to get towed to a family members house where we later discovered a piece of plastic was cracked and broken that went to the anti-freeze coolant and now I have to get it towed to another legit garage like the DEALERSHIP and have them diagnose it for all the issues that it has now after those crooks worked on it and robbed me of $3600. more

They are not licensed!!! & they over charge for work that they farm out (they hired an outside mechanic). I took my car and they said it was a crank shaft leak and needed valve cover gaskets. I opted to do the gaskets first as it was $176 vs crank shaft leak that was over $400. He calls its done, we go, the car wont start. He had the nerve to ask me for money for parts & labor and the car didnt work. we go down there b/c he wants us to see what he has done to the car. He refuses to take any responsibilty, he says it's the distributor, so we take him the part and he calls that night saying he doesnt know whats wrong. STILL. By his own mechanics admission they had to replace the ignition fuse. Which means the circuit board for that fuse was crossed or given opposite current which blew it out. He said he would send the car to his friend to diagnose (why he couldnt when he owns a shop is beyond me) I told him if this was going to cost me money I would take it to my mechanic to diagnose, he assured me he could get it done for ""peanuts"". If I bring you my car running and you cant get it to start after you've worked on it YOU should eat the charge to find out what it is. I told him I wasnt paying anything until we found out what the problem was. So then he calls and says they found that the ground wire came loose (which was their fault b/c they took it off when they took off the intake) and they were charging me $197 to diagnose (wow thats's peanuts? um not), plus the cost of HIS misdisgnose of the distributor, and gasket job. He calls and says the job for the car is $400. Said they charged $200 to diagnose. He never called to say how much it would be to diagnose and then said pay me or you dont get your car back. This coming from someone I know PERSONALLY for years. If he would do this to a so called ""friend"" beware this place it will only cost you more than you could imagine. They will nickel and dime you and are NOT qualified or competant do care for your vehicle. more
