Brand Bookshop

I have heard rumors that Brand Book Shop is the largest used book store in Los Angeles and I am inclined to believe them but even if it isn't the largest used book store it is certainly my favorite. They always seem to have the title I am looking for, the store is meticulously organized and whenever I can't find a particularly obscure book, the friendly staff is very helpful in locating the most likely shelf to peruse. Prices are very reasonable since the books are usually in mint or near-mint condition, though rarely exceptional bargains. Another fantastic feature is that the owner will buy your used books. Call in advance to schedule an appointment (since he takes occasional days off) and if you are willing to exchange for store credit you will get an ever better value. I couldn't agree with Party Bear more. This used bookstore has a great selection and a very relaxed atmosphere. Stacks and stacks of used books, at such great prices you're able to take some chances while you seek out the gems. If you like to read, you'll like this store.
