Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. This is the 5th time I've been to Boyd Vet and had just a bad visit. Misdiagnosed my dog on one visit, sent the wrong medication home on another, keep us waiting for 30 minutes at a minimum, sometimes longer. Screwed up a dew claw surgery on a puppy, I can keep going, but I think you get the point. Just go somewhere else. more

I love this Animal Hospital. I have been using them for 4 years now. In most cases I can get in the same day. Very friendly staff, and even their emergency after hours care is wonderful! more

My best friend "Chip" got very old...fell down and had a stroke and would not eat for days...I had to make the choice to give him relief from all the pain he was enduring. I had to make the choice that none of us want to. My family and I decided it was time to let him rest but no one wanted to take him. That was the hardest day of my life! I took him, walked him around before I took him in, loved him, talked to him. He was so week, but I still saw my best-friends beautiful eyes which were still alive. I was too emotional to go in with him. I did go in with him, but not for his last breath. I and the staff knew I could not take it. A couple of days later I got a card from the staff in remembrance of my best friend "Chip" I still have the card. I adopted a Great Dog more than a year after. This clinic offers super friendly staff who cares about each animal, and spends time getting to know them. They explain things fully, give great support when needing specialist help, and keep waiting times to a minimum. I recommend them to anyone within 15-20 miles of the place. It is worth the drive, to get a great vet, roomy waiting area (where i barely have to sit), and fantastic prices!! more

My mom has taken two cats to them and both have died after visits to this vet. Her first cat was older but it wasn't until after a visit to the vet for his annual checkup that he started to have kidney failer. We took this as old age and felt his passing was natural. HOWEVER, After her kitten survived a lethal dosage of one of her annual shots and then they gave her too much anastegia when she was put under to have her spayed (which led to her death), I am beginning to think otherwise. Please think twice about using this vet. Do you research before choosing the person you are going to leave your animals life in the hands of. more

Having worked in vet clinics through the years, I am able to comment from both the insider's perspective and the client's perspective. This clinic is roomy, the waiting area is large enough for several people with large animals to wait at one time. However, I've never seen anyone wait. I've never had to wait. The office staff is very personable and friendly, which has been extremely hard to find for some reason. The vets have a true heart for animals as do the techs. The clinic is clean and the prices are fair. They also will do "farm calls" for those of us with lots of animals - not just horses - but lots of dogs and cats. That is a huge plus!! more

This animal hospital is wonderful. The vets and staff treat your animals with care and respect. They offer treatment for small and large animals. And they also carry a variety of products for sale in their lobby. It is easy to make an appointment, there are usually never any long waits to be seen. more
